LIVEAUCTIONEERS SHIPPING QUOTE IS NUTS!!!!
Doyle will not do in house shipping. My item is an envelope that cost $500 and would fit into a number 10 standard envelope. It should cost no more than $28.00 to ship with insurance, etc. Liveauctioneers has quoted $104.00 for their service which is four times the real cost. Beware!

The painting was as described and arrived safe. Pleased with the purchase although I would have preferred an ACH transfer option but the auction house only uses one of these payment systems that must have your account number to go in and get the money. I refused and paid by credit card.

Item as described, clear third party shipping instructions
Very pleased with the entire process and the description that Doyle provided for this auction. They made it very simple and I was able to receive my winning bidder very easily through my choice of a third party shipping company that was recommended by their company. I highly recommend this auction house and will not hesitate to bid with them again!

Professionalism from Start to Finish
My experience with Doyle can be summed up simply-there are auction houses, and then there ARE auction houses. First, the item was accurately described-every possible flaw was mentioned. Knowledge is power if you're a potential bidder. Payment options were greatly appreciated. Their hours for a pick up were convenient. I was greeted by a young woman at their desk who was courteous and quite helpful. Doyle actually built a box for me to more safely transport my item in. I left Doyle feeling extraordinarily positive about my purchasing experience with them. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to future purchases.
