The whole process went smoothly. For the shipping, I could find a good solution within the shippers that were proposed by Clars Auction.

Very professional auction house

Won a group of coins. Upon receipt, the two most valuable coins in the lot were obvious counterfeits. Sent photographic proof showing the coins received compared to genuine certified coins. Auctioneer responded as if I was lying, and offered $50 in "auction credit" for coins worth, if they were genuine, a minimum of $300. Why would I buy from them again if they sell fakes? Or, I could ship back-at my cost-and they also would not refund my initial shipping costs. Insane. Since this is how customers are treated, who would bid here? Hopefully no one.

From my pre-sale inquiries with Julia, additional photo requests and post-sale invoicing to the final shipping, this purchase was smooth sailing every step of the way. Easy and quick transaction

While I usually only select items from auctioneers that offer in-house shipping-I made an exception in this case-this painting was too wonderful to pass us. It was just as I had hoped from the photos and the description. The process went very well. I chose UPS Store # 7080 for the packing and shipping. Excellent choice-they provided a breakdown of all the costs which was helpful as this painting was rather large and expensive to ship. Exceptional packaging-I broke a sweat unpacking this beast of a box. One of my best LiveAuctioneer experiences.
