Hilliard is one of the best auction houses that I have dealt with in my nine of years of continuous buying from national auctions. The shipper is Blue Ridge Pack and Ship with Mike Toney. They are the best shipping company that I have dealt with in that time period. They would be rated a 6 or 7. As veteran purchasers know the shipping company used by the auctioneer is an extremely important variable. I do not like to recommend companies but I doubt that one can go wrong with either of these two companies.

This was my first purchase from Hilliard & Company, my previous visits to their auction house having been only to preview items in an upcoming auction. Nicholas and Andre are delightful to talk to and have been very helpful in giving me background information about the items listed in their catalog. The photography is impeccable, which is so desirable when buying anything online. Karen does a wonderful job of describing each item in great detail, including any condition issues and the dimensions. Since I live in the same area as the auction house, I was able to pick up this Milo Baughman recliner in person. Nicholas helped put it in the pickup, which I also appreciated. I only wish that every auction house offered this level of professionalism and friendly customer service!
