Just got back from vacation to receive my items (that took about 2 weeks to ship). One of the turntables is NOT what I purchased. The auction listed & showed TWO Technics SL-1200MK3 turntables (1989). I received ONE Technics SL-1200MK3 & a Technics SL-1200MK3D. Almost identical to each other. One model from 1989 & the other from 1997. I bid & won TWO Technics SL-1200MK3's (1989). So where did this switch happen? At the auction house or by the shipper GAMETIME AUCTIONS? That is also interesting. SOLD by ACTIVITY AUCTIONS. On webpage says SHIPS from DOVER, DE, United States. Actually shipped from GAMETIME AUCTIONS located in LONG ISLAND City, NY??? UPDATE: After communicating with Activity Auctions & the wonderful staff I finally got everything sorted out. It seems activity auctions sells these items on consignment for the seller located in Japan. They are shipped from Japan & the seller sent one wrong table. After returning the wrong item sent I was finally provided with the right model. An issue I have with the whole situation is that the same pictures are being used in the sale of these turntables. So the photos are actually not of the exact units being sold but rather a representation of what they are supposed to be. Yes its the models you are to receive but not the actual items in the listing photos you will be receiving. So you may receive something that looks better or possibly worse. The units being shipped from the seller are not being opened & photographed for the auction. I've seen 3 separate auctions with the exact same photos. That really should be addressed.

While I’ve had success with other items. I would recommend not buying from activity auctions from Dover Delaware. They are unresponsive and haven’t shipped item purchased 20 days ago. I’m disputing payment.

Smooth and easy process from start to finish

Fantastic to do business with and very responsive. Had a bit of a computer glitch where a wrong item received a bid and they took care of that ASAP. Got me the item I bid on in a timely manner even with it being the holidays. Item was well packaged and arrived perfectly. Would recommend to anyone!
