The auction house was great. Their recommended shipper that I initially chose, not so much. They agreed to pick up the item and never did, and didn't communicate at all, and I didn't find out it hadn't been collected until the auction house wrote to find out when I was picking up my item. So, I had a mad scramble to get another shipper who did a great job for us. The auction house communicated well and there were no unexpected surprises with the item, like we've often had with other auction houses. Overall, a great experience.
