Service and honesty in my experience here was very good. They responded to inquiry quickly and honestly. It all worked out. Shipping charges were way over what they should have been, but my item did arrive quickly, so I'm willing to overlook that.

Excellent auction house as always!! Excellent descriptions and photographs as always. I live a little over an hour away. I know I can bid with confidence without making a preview trip! The staff is always friendly and courteous! Thank for the great auctions!!

honest, quick mailing and excellent packing

My auction item, a rare J. P. Sauer and Sohn stalking rifle arrived broken. It was broken in shipment. The folks at Valley Auctions filed a damage claim and refunded me my costs. Thank you

Items were as described and well packaged for shipping. Seller had an issue with their shipper but maintained communications regarding issue and resolution, with apologies for the issues. Have purchased from them again with no issues and continue to follow their auctions. Easy to work with.

Valley Auctions is great to deal with. I chatted with Steve several times to get my items paid for so they could be shipped. Great communication and a lot of help and answers. But on the other hand about Live Auctioneers, tsk, tsk. The Live Auctioneer occasionally experiences issues with their payment processing. No matter how many times or different cards you use, you're always denied. After 2 attempts for them to fix the issue, it then had another problem. Then the next time it went back to the first issue. So I had to call Valley Auctions to pay the bill over the phone. I also don't get no responses back from Live Auctioneers about sales tax on currency which they're not suppose to charge, but yet they do. If my State says they don't collect tax on currency and Live Auctioneers charges me tax, where is this money going? Are they lining their pockets and keeping this tax that there suppose to pay? Over the course of time, using Live Auctioneers site I've been charged over several hundred dollars in taxes. Where is this money? As far as I'm concern Live Auctioneers is stealing from us. Check your tax law on sales tax on currency and bullion and you'll most likely see that you shouldn't be charged taxes on your purchase. Maybe a class action lawsuit will get them to change their ways, as well as fixing their procedures on tax collecting. And this will probably get State and Federal officials involved in fraud charges or even embezzlement charges if they check the books and see if their paying the taxes and or why their charging taxes on currency.

All items arrived quickly, undamaged, as described, and as pictured. I used their in-house shipping and felt the shipping was far more reasonable than LiveAuctioneers shipping services.

Valley auction is unique in that they give the buyer several days to work a schedule around pick up! They do a great job of telling the prospective buyer about a crack in a plate, leg that was broken but now repaired. It is hard to get to preview sessions so it is good that they are honest and detailed!

Highly recommend

Seller was able to meet me for pick-up on a Saturday morning. Well organized, professional operation. Unfortunately they are just too far from me and shipping is always too expensive. Otherwise, I would definitely buy from Valley Auctioneers again.
