Package received, everything packed perfectly, the products are better than in the photo

Everything is fine, for me personally.

Purchased a rare WW1 helmet-Item was fake. Was told it would cost $135 to ship the helmet 26 miles and that I wasn't allowed to pick it up. Then was told $60 to have it "personally shipped" but no insurrance-The postage for the item was $14. Not a great experience-have been in this world for 25 years and know everyone. Should've asked around first.

Helios charges 28 % of the total... higher than most, then charges 3 % on top of that for credit card charges. They offer no in house shipping which makes is harder for out of state buyers. Their photos weren't detailed enough to show the damage to my item.

Excellent product and service. Shipping price is somethings that is left to be desired. $175 for a $35 shipping and that's being overly generous. Package was 8 lbs with packing. Otherwise their service is extremely good and I was very satisfied that they were willing to help me with the shipping.

The seller arranged for me to pick up the item from their residence doorman. Simply amazing service!!!

They auction online they NEED to provide reasonable shipping cost me $65 to ship a belt buckle 2 states away

Amateur hour

Won item and contacted auction house to pay. Small problem with a 1 % addition on the final price which wasn't the advertised price. After an explanation I was told that I would receive credit from the shipper. Then the charge on my card was $10 more than the price quoted. Then I had to track a shipping company to ship the 1800s rifle. 3 companies refused to ship it stating it was too large and their boxes weren't big enough. Like they couldn't connect 2 boxes together. One company wanted $320 to do so. I finally found someone to do it for $160. Imagine a 9 pound item that 60 inches long cost that much to ship. I ship rifles daily for my business for less than $45 across the US. Its a rip off and they know its a rip off and continue to do it but if one wants their item they have to pay. I did get a refund for their mistake though. In the end the $550 item cost $900 to get.

The seller wasn't cooperative. This is the first & the last time I deal with him.

Bid and won item. Owner advised that I should pick one of his recommended shippers because they don't ship items themselves. I was contacted by one of his recommended shippers who quoted me $150 to ship a knife no more than one pound in weight. I advised the owner Sergei who kindly said he would ship the item for me at $45 cost. Charged my card $55 instead and when package came a couple of weeks later price tag on flat rate USPS box shows $28 insured. The rest is up for interpretation.

Sergei could not have been more helpful in answering my questions, and it was a pleasure to meet him in New York. When picking up my item he and the team helped me out with all the protective packing material I needed to ensure my item made it safely back to London. Payment was super quick and easy and I am very much looking forward to the making future purchases from Helios!

They do not provide shipping but did provide two recommendations for private shippers. One didn't respond and the other charged quite a bit. UPS also wanted an excessive amount. It would be better if they shipped since its in Manhattan and everyone wants a large amount.

I contacted Helios regarding shipping. They contacted me back and I was allowed to have a friend who lived in New York to pick up the item for me that I won in their auction, saving me shipping cost. Looking forward to bidding on more items from Helios.

It’s a good thing I purchased only one painting from them, they gave me a couple people to use for shipping I chose one it was the worst experience I’ve ever had it started out at one price and got moved up twice today ended up being a price almost double the cost it was actually packed at the auction houses warehouse and the painting frame came completely damaged and cost me over $800 to repair it I’ve never ever received any shipments packaged this way before and I buy lots of paintings like this one it was in cardboard with no protection at all. Emailed the auction house three times about the this issue and got zero response.

A great experience overall

No confidence. They physically LOST the item I bid on and won and paid for. Never heard from them-even paid the shipper. No contact about status of lost item until I repeatedly bothered them about status. After they finally refunded the money, they contact me to tell me they found it and wonder if I want to buy it again! NO THANKS.
