Very responsive
I had a question about the lot on which I wanted to bid and they replied very quickly with a full answer which required that they specifically look at the lot and test it. They were also very helpful in providing references for local shippers, and the one I chose was superb. I am very happy with all aspects of dealing with Alex Cooper and would not hesitate to recommend that you give them a try.

LiveAuctioneers high Charges and Alex Cooper Bad Customer Service
I contacted Alex Cooper shortly after the auction to ask if I could pay via check. They say yes, and then I asked them to stop live Auctioneers from autopay, which they replied they would. AI mailed them a check and a couple days later I noticed that Live Auctioneers had already charged my credit card and with their usual extra charges. I called Alex Cooper and they told me that once they received my check that they would ask Live Auctioneers to reverse the charges. A few days later I received a call from Alex Copper asking what to do with my check. When i asked the person on the other line what happened to reversing the charges, they told me that it was not possible any longer, even though I had reached out to them before my credit card was charged and immediately after. Very unhappy with the whole experience

Beware of UPS Store # 3326
Auction went well. UPS STORE # 3326 poorly packaged item and I received a destroyed carving. UPS store # 3326 only submitted a partial refund and I lost $80 and I received a destroyed one of a kind carving. Beware, do not use UPS store # 3326.

Successful and happy outcome
A snafu had our lot given to another, 2 hours away from Baltimore. Despite the "new owner" setting difficult collection. Alex Cooper shipping sent a truck to pick up our goods and delivered it, on Saturday, themselves. A perfect outcome to an unfortunate incident. So.... great to work with. Anyone can deal with things going well; the test is being there when things go wrong!

Believed sign to be a fake once I received it
This Auction house would not stand up and do the proper thing and accept a return the only offer they made was to take it back on consignment.. pictures did not accurately show the issues that would have shown it as a reproduction.

Misleading Listing
I won a lot of vintage Lincoln auto parts. I bought the lot for the NOS Lincoln tissue box pictured. When I got it the box was empty. The listing did not say it was an empty box. I contacted Alex Cooper with no resolution. With not deal with them again.

Seamless Transaction
Prompt invoicing and easy process. I would also highly recommend UPS Store 3326 for shipping. Prompt pickup, affordable shipping and great service which is not always the case with a lot of auction houses. In all, a good experience.
