The buyer was charged actual shipping cost, & was shipped the same day shipping payment was received. Buyer chose to ship the more expensive route through UPS. We provided insurance & in house shipping at cost. It took Thomas 9 days to pay for his one item, sent us expired FFL paperwork & then complains it takes too long to ship. He is the exact kind of buyer we don’t want to business with. Do not recommend allowing him to bid at your auction either.

The best Auction House
I’ve bought a couple of things here, communication is excellent and prompt.. items are as described and pickup was super easy, they were very helpful and I’ll surely buy from them again

Great to deal with.
After a small hiccup with original postage provider, Burleys took over and sorted out the issue. Parcel arrived in good condition all the way to Australia. Will look forward to dealing with them again in the future. AAA +

Never received purchased item. No communication from auction house.
I purchased an item at auction from burley. Experience was good until it came time to ship. In spite of multiple attempt's to arrange shipping the auction house was unresponsive. I would have been patient if they would have communicated at all but they did not. My item was $500 so not a cheap purchase. Very frustrating. I ended up filing a billing dispute wi th my credit. Are company to recoup my money. Really disappointing was excited about purchasing the item. Terrible customer service from burley. I hope other buyers got their stuff.

Evan’s item is still sitting here. He purchased the items, never paid shipping, never responded to phone calls, & reversed charges. We’ve been in the auction business 22 years & every buyer that paid got their items. Evan is new t this & better at leaving negative feedback than buying. Evan has been blocked from bidding due to non payment

Slow shipping
I was contacted shortly after I won the bid. I made payment and then crickets. I called multiple times and sent a couple emails before I got confirmation that my rifle was ready to ship. Maybe this is standard practice but not what I’ve grown accustomed to purchasing other firearms online. Normally I have my item in 3 days after payment is completed, not 30 The firearm itself was very well described in the add and the pictures were very accurate.

Outstanding Auction House

Responsive and helpful
I had several questions for Burley auction House after I had won my item. I reached out via email, and they got back to me promptly. We ended up with three or four email exchanges, clarifying the circumstances of payment and shipping. They were patient and understanding. I would summarize them as responsive and helpful, and recommend them highly.

All is good but took a long time to receive item after auction.
Won the auction on 11/29/25. Item received on 01/29/26. I realize there were a lot of items for you to ship, plus we had the holidays during that time, but two months was a long time between winning the auction and receiving the item. Communication (from David) was very responsive and I'm super happy with the item!

Excellent Communication
David was exceptional in his email Communication with me. I had not heard anything after a couple of weeks, so I wrote and my questions were answered in a very timely manner. He followed through with mailing my item, and it was packed very nicely. Highly recommend Burley Auction Group!

Haven't heard about my win item
I won a Missouri Pacific lantern the end of November 29th and paid December 2nd today is January 3rd and have not heard back on my 2 emails as to the status or invoice on the shipping. Should not be that difficult to leave an update or status on my item. Poor communication.

His $25 item was shipped to him for free, after he didn’t respond to multiple attempts to contact. We shipped for free to speed it up & Larry leaves a 2 star review. Don’t be like Larry.
