The silver borzoi head cane was authentic and even better than what the photos were able to show. Very pleased with my purchase. Bidders beware regarding the use of LiveAuctioneer's shipping "assistance": it might seem like the easiest way to get your item shipped to you, but this is the second time in a row that the shippers have failed to label my packages properly, resulting in unnecessary delays clearing customs. Little to no assistance in rectifying their error, leaving me to ultimately have to provide a commercial invoice on their behalf in order to get my package through customs. FedEx was incredibly helpful and supportive but if LiveAuctioneers is selling a service to pack and ship to Canada, they should provide the service and not leave the customer to deal with the fallout when they fail to package the item appropriately. NOT the fault of the auction house, but please choose a private shipping option in order to avoid undue hardship and frustration.

responsive and helpful
they provided shipping for my (easily packed) item-at a far more reasonable rate than L. A. quoted-(a fee that would have prevented me from even contemplating a bid). I would certainly bid again on a lot from this company.
