I’ve purchased several items from Art Legacy. The people are very customer focused. This time they offered to frame my item before shipping at a reasonable price.

Won a Miro art piece from Art Legacy Auction. Item was as described and was packed well. Customer service was quick to respond with answers to questions and additional pictures. What really impressed me was their quick shipping. Received item in just a week or so after winning.

Let me start by saying, the staff is absolutely phenomenal. I have purchased art with various auction houses, but none of them comes close to Art Legacy’s customer service. Gwen is a saint, she is so helpful, it’s almost surreal. Good people here, authentic artwork for great prices. Don’t wait, make your purchase with them, you won’t be disappointed! Shipping has been very reasonably priced and fast for me. That might vary with distance. I’ve purchased a good amount of works from this place. I can say that I am well pleased with all that they have to offer, they do not disappoint. If you’re having trouble with anything from payment to appraisal etc, don’t be afraid to call the auction house, they will work with you.

A very easy purchase with no issue at all-when shipping is arranged by the auction house it goes much easier

This auction house brazenly lie about the condition of lots and cannot be trusted. This is among the worst commercial experiences of my life. I have been sold a painting for five thousand dollars, which is worth five hundred, due to the exceptionally poor and damaged state the painting was in-clearly at odds with their description which stated 'very good condition'. Liars. Untrustworthy. Should not be given a platform to scam members of the public by liveauctioneers.

Item was in excellent condition, better than expected, shipping was secure, no issues.

I mentioned to them that we were going to be gone on a cruise until the 28th of September. They replied by saying it would be delivered after the 28th; but actually arrived b4 we got home. Luckily my neighbor knew we were gone and got it for us. It would have been sad if a porch pirate got it b4 we could have. That could’ve been tragic to lose the money and artwork also. Otherwise, yes, I will do more business in the future.

After having a few negative experiences buying art on LA, everything about Art Legacy was 5 * s! Fast, cheap s/h & the art was just as described. I would definitely buy from them again & trust their auctions & I cannot say that about other art dealers on here. You guys are great!

I won several items in one auction and I needed a few items sent as a gift, while the remainder were mine. The invoice came with all the items together. LA could do nothing, but Gwen at Art Legacy divided the shipping into two addresses while keeping the single invoice. Easy peasey! Excellent customer service-extremely patient!

The Salvador Dali print I ordered was framed incorrectly. The hanging wire was attached at the bottom third of the art piece, not the top third, and the certificate of authenticity was attached upside down. If I try to repair the direction of these items, to be able to actually hang it upright not upside down, I will compromise the value of the item. I feel like this should have been disclosed in the description or pictures.

This is an auction house so factor in the percentage charge by house and shipping costs. I found the same signed in block litho for free shipping better framing and lower auction house percentage on line. Not their fault but do your home work.

Item I was sent is a fake!!

Unlike most auction sites, this auction house is really good at communicating. They called me to offer me a second painting that didn’t sell and made me a good offer on it. The quality of these reproduction paintings is meh, the faux texture/impasto isn’t really all that good, so it’s something to be aware of if you buy a painting that is “hand embellished “from them. They did come with nice paperwork though. Other than that, I’d highly recommend doing business with this auction house.

Important to understand lithographs, artists proofs, limited edition, open edition and techniques utilized. Some of these are simply high quality prints from a collection without being numbered or signed by artist. Picasso for example are mostly giclee prints which are high quality reproductions certified by the gallery and permitted by the Picasso estate. The prints will maintain their value but dont expect any major increase. Framing when provided is a good value. Just recommending to be aware and informed.

The items were packed well and shipped on a timely manner. Wonderful customer support! Overall a great auction house and I highly recommend them.
