They were very dismissive of the fact that they quite literally refused to honor my winning bid. They claimed another buyer won the item through Saleroom. I find this unlikely and suspect they withheld the item because they were not happy of the price it fetched. I think they are very dishonest people. In my experience, they are also rude and slow to respond. It took me multiple messages and emails to finally get someone to address the issue. They claim it must have “slipped through,” but I doubt the invoicing system is not automatic. I would avoid this auction house if you can. But if you must use them, make sure you use their preferred platform for bidding as it may be more difficult for them to slither their way out of it.
