7 weeks later and still no item
I elected to use the recommended shipping company. After 7 weeks I still do not know the status of shipping. I have called and emailed both the shipping company and Ashcroft and Moore many times. No one answers. I have no idea if anyone has the item or will ever deliver the item. I understand that there was a large number of items at this auction. But there is no excuse for the lack of communication. Clearly this reflects poorly on all involved.

Irresponsible
In the small print of the sale it said, as I found out afterwards, that all items not being picked up would be handed over to one specific company. This company is not responding. I do not know after one month where the item is. I did not receive an answer or a quote from the shipping company picked by Ashcroft and Moore. When asking for help, Ashcroft and Moore claim that they not responsible anymore. Indeed!

Whne the cost to ship an item is 10x more than I know it should, that is disgraceful/
I even asked to have the photo taken out of the frame and shipped that way, they refused. Will nevcer deal with this company again and please be aware of companies trying to ********** you on shipping charges. That part of any auction should not be there to be profitable!

Shipping time, shipping cost and no communication
The item was fine. But shipping took a full month after payment, with no communication. When I wrote to them they referred me to "Live auction shippers" and washed their hands. I got the item a full month after purchase, and they charged almost $50 for a 5 "X 5" box. Ridiculous. BTW: I buy from Live Auctions frequently, and have never complained before.

Alec and Megan were fantastic!! Communications regarding items purchased. Arrangements with personal pickup times and their onsite assistance with loading along with helping to secure items was impeccable. I would highly recommend their services and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Ease of transaction
I had several questions regarding shipping and Megan in the front office was very pleasant to talk with and knowledgeable with company policies. All information re: releases for shipping was promptly emailed to me. I chose Nicolas Prechaniuk from the shipping list Ashcroft & Moore provided on their site. That information was so valuable as I’m not from the area. Mr Prechaniuk and his assistant had my cupboard delivered to me within 2 weeks from the end of auction. Arrived quickly, safely and most importantly intact. The cupboard was tightly wrapped in shipping blankets for the trip from PA to FL. I’m thrilled with the whole transaction from purchase to delivery THANK YOU for caring!

Great Experience
I had a very good experience with Ashcroft and Moore. They were able to explain confusing details on my invoice with patience and good humor, and adjust it accordingly. They also recommended an excellent shipper (the Philadelphia Mailroom). Everything was professional and efficient.

This auction house does not have its own shipping department.
This auction house does not have a shipping department; they do supply a list of potential shippers though. I received quotes of over 125 $to ship a simple framed picture. I paid the auction house the bid price and the buyers premium and instructed them to hang the picture in their lunch room-I can buy a similar picture for less money elsewhere. I wont follow this auction house because of the difficulty to ship any won items.

I am happy with the auctioneer. I understand it is difficult to deal with people picking up items but they could be more lenient as far as the 24 hour notice. I still give them 5 Stars!

Great Service, Thoughtful Selection
Ashcroft and Moore is always great to work with. They have a keen eye for interesting and thoughtful art, furniture, and more, and have always been helpful in giving me a hand to load in pieces during pick up. Alex, Jeffrey, and the team are great conversationalists, and a wealth of information on all things "stuff". I've bid with them consistently, and have never been disappointed in my purchases.
