They have a lot of great antiquities items just keep in mind if you are bidding from the US to allow for conversion and expensive shipping. But items are packed well and they use DSL express so it comes pretty quick from London. Overall, a good purchase experience. Pleased with the item.

There were 3 pictures, but all was from the same side, the other side looks very different. The description was very wrong, they obviously have little or no expertise. It is not the first time I see the auktionhouse makes misleading and not acurate desvriptions and pictures. That said I got the item well packed. But the worst; There was a COA Certificate that was so wrong that it tending a forgery. Dating stated 8000-6000 BC. Spear head; North European Stone Age. Refering to P. V Glob ’ Classification in the book: Danish Oldsager II??????? wrong very wrong No; It is dating around 2000 BC. It is a knife from Ukraine Very sad that they make this faked and wrong written provenance. It is not the first time. Obvias they don’t care and cheat many collectors.

This was my first experience using liveauctioneers and my first experience purchasing from Pax Romana. The item is authentic, as pictured and described and was well packaged. The customer service from this auction house was superb both friendly, efficient and accommodating. The shipping with DHL to the states was frustrating unfortunately as they claimed to have missed me twice when I was home and work from home. I had to arrange to pick it up after a few calls to the carrier but that in no way reflects poorly on this auction house.

The Oct 4, 2020 Pax Romana Auction was my first time bidding on this Auction. I was successful on bidding/purchasing four items. As I reside in the United States, I had a question as to how to make payment in US Dollars. It turned out to be a seamless process. My purchases arrive in a timely manner and they were packaged very well. Would I do business with them again? Yes, absolutely and have already submitted bids on their Nov. 15th Auction.
