Buyer beware. Description stated "Qing Wang Bu Blue and White Vase." The description goes on to state that Wang Bu's seal is shown in iron-red. There are no iron-red seals on this vase, and the very sloppy blue and white artist seal and studio mark are barely readable and definitely not authentic Wang Bu. His signature is wrong; his Jingdezhen studio mark is wrong. I sent a notice twice to Lauren Auctions challenging the misrepresentation and they have ghosted me. The ad does not state "after" or "attributed to" or any other words that might cause a person to be wary, they represented this piece as authentic "Wang Bu." This auction house is not to be trusted. LiveAuctioneers ghosted me, too. So much for their satisfaction guarantee. Highly unprofessional, disrespectful, shoddy, cheap behavior on the part of Lauren Auctions and LiveAuctioneers.

Don't attend an auction. This is a Chinese auction house. The pictures are retouched. Many of the items are modern crafts. I sincerely advise everyone not to bid in this auction. They will raise the price so that you can pay the highest price

Your ignorance deserves a negative rating. I don’t know how you get Top Rated; In my experience this is awful. I sent them deposit request; they took it next day. I asked the conditions of an item, same question asked three times and toke weeks to reply! I asked for evident of provenance, no reply at all! You are free to add anything in the descriptions as you have legally disclaimed any responsibility “LAUREN Galleries shall have no responsibility for any error or omission.” However, if you are not able provide evidence of provenance, don’t put them on. This imply that this auction house making false and misleading claims. Liveauctioneers provides a platform and take premium, but this auction house takes premium and their “experts” do nothing professional. Why do you still buy and sell from an UNETHICAL auction house like this one?
