Very smooth transaction. Good communications. Fast invoice. Item is just as described. The only issue I had was post auction-shipping. The auction house provides a list of shippers each of whom I contacted. I got wildly varying estimates from $4000 (Yes. $4000 and to be fair it was a rage of shipping costs between $3000 and $4000.) to the one that I accepted $240 all inclusive shipping and handling. If I were to bid again with this auction house, I would definitely get shipping quotes before bidding. Beside that, it was a smooth transaction. Thank you!

DISHONORABLE; WORST AUCTION EXPERIENCE EVER! I’ve been buying, selling and trading watches, art, fossils, stones and various other items for over 2 decades and never dealt with anything like this. The auction terms said they take credit cards but after the auction they sent an email that required payment via PayPal. PayPal charges a currency conversion rate since I’m in the US and they are in Canada ($437 on this deal). They made me wait 17 days for the PayPal payment to clear their account even though it had cleared my credit card and my PayPal account. After the payment cleared, they sent me a paid in full invoice and said I could have the shipper pick it up. A week later I called the shipper and they said Time Art would not release the watch. I called Time Art and the person would not speak with me. The next day a "manager" told me the seller made a mistake and put the reserve too low. They refused to sell me the watch. TERRIBLE! If I had made a bid by mistake, I would still be required to pay for the item. After much patience, frustration, phone calls and many, many emails they refunded my money. It took another 9 days before I had the full refund credited. I originally paid on 3/27 and finally got my money back 5/5; 39 days and $31 in cc interest not refunded. I cannot emphasize strongly enough to stay away from this company. PS … as of today (5/8/23) the exact same watch is listed for sale on their auction for May 13th. THEY ARE A VERY DISHONORABLE COMPANY.
