Above and beyond. The Auction Gallery owner stayed after hours or opened up shop on a weekend date that he was supposed to be closed so that I could pick up my two purchases and when one of the large paintings didn't fit into the back of my SUV he arranged for a mover to come right away pick it up and deliver it to my home address for a very reasonable fee Great gentleman very trustworthy very knowledgeable I look forward to being a repeat customer

Good all around

Aside from the four great pieces I have purchased through Avra, the ease of being able to drive over to pick them up days later has made the process worthwhile and anxiety free. Great and trustworthy vendor.

The piece I bid on and won, and the piece I received at my home address, matched perfectly. In other words, colors-which I know (from experience) are hard to represent accurately in photos taken for online displays-were very well done by Avra. The painting I received looks exactly like the painting I bid on (I have sent paintings back before due to online representations being so different from reality). Furthermore, the painting, which was large and round, was packed well and was received here undamaged. Avra did well by me in every regard!

Very good communication with Avra: quick and accommodating. Recommended, would buy from again. (Dealing directly with this auction house was much better than liveauctioneers. com's automatic system and it's additional high fee.)

I was charged $140 to ship 6 regular-sized dinner plates that I only paid $75 for. The auction ended Jan 1st and I received the plates Jan 25th-3.5 weeks later. $140 and no delivery for almost a month? And I confirmed it was not the courier's fault-Avra did not ship until January 22nd-over 3 weeks later. Absolutely unacceptable. Never again! Be forewarned!

Amazing group of paintings. The owner worked with me to arrange affordable shipping to NY. I bought 15 pieces and was worried about how to get them to NY. He found me a driver and it was less than I could even dream about. So nice!!
