OK, but....
Photos were good, but descriptions were minimal, more could have and should have been written, but was not. Overall these were OK preliminary cartoons worth the low hammer price. Shipping was relatively fast, but packing of items was one of the worst I have ever seen... it looked like packing from a bad eBay seller. Box arrived crushed was too small, it only just fit the matted art which was stuffed into the box, and there was next to no protection inside. All three mats arrived bent, but fortunately art was still surprisingly intact. This may have happened since I complained about the high shipping cost, which they did adjust, but now I suspect they may have held a grudge and packed poorly. Highly doubt I will bid again with, or recommend Avra. I have not bothered to contact them about this since, this never should have happened and it seems pointless to waste any more of my time. Not a great experience.

Excellent Customer Sevice
This painting exceeds my wildest hopes. It is magnificent. The packaging was thorough and protected this treasure. The temps here in TX are approaching 100, the UPS truck is even hotter, next time I would suggest just sending to a UPS facility and picking it up. Thank you, Avram stellar as always.

Avra handles overseas shipping, and at fair cost, which means the customer does not need to contact shipping agents. Be careful that Live Auctioneers may also simultaneously attempt to charge shipping and at very high cost. Avra contacted me to explain the situation. They reached out. Best experience with an auciton house on this platform. Looking forward to future auctions with Avra.

Smooth process
The art is BIG, much larger than I thought it would be. The auction house was able to postpone the shipping due to my being out of town. This auction house always has great art, I will be doing business with them in the future.

Highly Recommended Art Auction House
I have had greatly enjoyed my purchases from Avra Art Auction and my interactions with Marc, since I discovered Avra Art Auction earlier this year. The items I have purchased have all been of excellent quality and value. The pictures are accurate, although as with all pictures online there is some variability in the color/brightness as is expected. I generally zoom in and look closely at any items I am interested in prior to considering my purchase. Item condition and issues are described/photographed. I have not experienced shipping, but Marc is super fast to respond to text messages to schedule pick up at the number listed for the auction. I have no doubt, if I were concerned about making a purchase he would be responsive and helpful. Thank you, Marc, and I look forward to future auctions!
