Avra handles overseas shipping, and at fair cost, which means the customer does not need to contact shipping agents. Be careful that Live Auctioneers may also simultaneously attempt to charge shipping and at very high cost. Avra contacted me to explain the situation. They reached out. The art is BIG, much larger than I thought it would be. The auction house was able to postpone the shipping due to my being out of town. This auction house always has great art, I will be doing business with them in the future.

I have had greatly enjoyed my purchases from Avra Art Auction and my interactions with Marc, since I discovered Avra Art Auction earlier this year. The items I have purchased have all been of excellent quality and value. The pictures are accurate, although as with all pictures online there is some variability in the color/brightness as is expected. I generally zoom in and look closely at any items I am interested in prior to considering my purchase. Item condition and issues are described/photographed. I have not experienced shipping, but Marc is super fast to respond to text messages to schedule pick up at the number listed for the auction. I have no doubt, if I were concerned about making a purchase he would be responsive and helpful. Thank you, Marc, and I look forward to future auctions!

AVRA has something for everyone, and reasonable shipping, and great service. Always enjoy doing business with them.

When my painting arrived there was an issue, but Marc could not have been more helpful in getting it immediately resolved. A real gentleman! Something small but noticeable had dripped on the painting. He guided me on how to gently remove it and told me that if it didn’t work, he would have a restorer take care of it at no cost to me or that we could undo the transaction, whatever would make me happy. The removal worked but he was 100 % ready to stand behind the sale. Absolutely will buy from them again!
