could not be happier

I wouldn’t use this auction house MJ Auction Gallery LLC ever again. Package was UPS scanned but somehow disappeared and?? There are plenty of complaints about this auction house online.

Purchased 2 oil paintings. They are just what I had hoped for and the seller was helpful in every way, including combining shipping. Recommend without reservations.

I bid on and received my item with no problems. I contacted MJ Auction Gallery multiple times with questions. I wanted to know about authenticity documentation and any provenance. I never received a reply and still do not know about the documentation or if I just received a fraudulent item. So if you want information don’t count on receiving an answer.

I've asked MJ Auctions repeatedly for information about the painting I purchased, but have gotten nothing in return. I've tried calling; nothing works. I would avoid doing business when these people, if I were reading this review. They're very suspect.

Although $169 for shipping was listed, which seemed excessive for a 5 "x 7" piece of art, the auction house wasn't interested in working with me about cost. Package arrived, a cut-down used box with 1 piece of bubble wrap and affixed $30. postage paid label.

This a mom & pop operation out of someone residence. Not the professionals I am used to dealing with.

I am seeking criminal charges against this auction house and its owner. The same artwork was purchased 2 months ago from another auction in Miami but the artist and signatures were altered from an unknown painter to a prominent one. MJ Auction Galleries answered my questions quickly, provided additional provenance and shipped the painting quickly and professionally. Service was seamless and easy from sale to payment to shipping and delivery. Great service

Purchased an "original" oil on paper framed work. On arrival there was no doubt the work was a poor attempt at a reproduction/counterfeit. Signature was also clearly a copy poorly represented over the work. I also had this confirmed by a subject matter expert. I have disputed the credit card transaction and will be contacting the police regarding the misrepresentation/fraud. The "gallery" is a residential address if yous search on google maps with multiple galleries registered at the same address. Clearly a fraud operation that unfortunately live auctioneers seems happy to support.

The UPS driver pointed out that there was damaged to the box. I opened the box and the painting was packed so that there was no damaged to it. I had to sign for it which was fine. If I find another item to purchase at this auction house I would bid again without any hesitation.

Packing of In-house shipping was excellent. Very cost effective. Items were as advertised. Happy customer.
