Inability to provide an accurate letterhead invoice after 3 + weeks
After 3 + weeks, Tenmoku has been able to provide an invoice for the actual dollar amount i paid, and for two weeks chose to delete both provenance and specific dating from the invoice, even though it had been clearly provided as part of the website listing for the lot. Generic responses appeared from Tenmoku to my queries and after almost one month, they have still been unable to provide an accurate and professional invoice to me. Serious, protracted communication challenges at Tenmoku during my many efforts to resolve this issue. Professional catalog descriptions online that are typically abbreviated on final invoicing.

Tenmoku Auctions, a Five Star, internationally renowned Auction House specializing in Asian Art for many years, recently did business with the above bidder. He purchased and item which was beautifully photographed from many angles, including an available condition report with additional natural light images. The item was accurately described with detailed notes and provenance report by a trained Specialist. The customer was promptly sent confirmation of payment and a list of trusted shippers to use. A shipper was selected and the item was carefully packed and arrived safely at the customer-no issues. The customer requested a receipt with specific information, which administration set about to satisfy the request, as we always to. We were able to provide the customer with exactly what he wanted. Be aware of this dishonest and arrogant auctioneer
Since it's an online auction, the bidders depend on the online description and pictures to make desicion. For this expensive lot I won (cloisonne bowl), it was described as "no visible damages". The pictures did not show the damage either. After I received the cloisonne bowl, I saw an obvious dent and repair on the side. I contacted them about the issue, but they appeared to be very arrogant and not even tried to treat you as a human. The simply copied and pasted "Tenmoku Auctions Inc. attempts to catalog every lot correctly and will attempt to point out any defects, but will not be responsible or liable for the correctness of the catalog or other descriptions of the lot. We encourage you to thoroughly examine the property before bidding. Any of the following conditions of sale may be amended, waived, or modified in the sole discretion of Tenmoku Auctions Inc. Unprofessional and dishonest.
Just be careful before you buy! I bought an Chinese porcelain antique from a on-line auction of Tenmoku Auctions. In the list Tenmoku stated "in good condition, only a light glaze line under the rim of the cover, can be only seen from the underside" But there are 4 defects in this item that can be clearly seen. 1, a chop on the rim of the cover 2, one old hairline on the cover 3, a new hairline on the cover 4, a bid chop on the bottom I contacted Tenmoku for this issue and they stated that their specialist was not aware of these damages prior to the auction. I attached some pictures for your reference whether these defects are clear or not. Again, you judge carefully. Do not waste money on the items that are broken
