What a terrible experience. BIDDERS BEWARE!!!! I have purchased dozens of paintings from all over the world, and this is the worst damage I've ever seen. Every single painting or frame was damaged in shipping. They packaged themselves and shipped and put the paintings directly against the shipping box with no padding between the cardboard and the frames. I won 6 paintings and every single frame was damaged, some significant and irreparable damage, one painting itself was damaged. When I sent pics and a request for a refund, no one responded. I had to involved LiveAuctioneers in the discussion. When the auction house responded to LiveAuctioneers, they said there was no damage and that the way the items are packaged is my responsibility for damages. I'm speechless. I spent over $1, 800 and purchased items that are all damaged.

This auction house’s “in house shipping” consists of putting your item in an oversized box and shipping it without packing materials. I won a wonderful, antique, wooden chandelier that arrived smashed to pieces. No reasonable person would have mailed an item in this manner. It’s not just a stunning disregard for the customer, but an affront against the world of art. The shipping was so poor that it crossed from careless to malicious. Do not spend a cent on Maison Jules Veilinghuis! I’ve spent thousands of dollars across the U. S. and Europe at auction and have never witnessed such incompetence.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND PACKAGING. MY ITEM ARRIVED VIA POSTAL SERVICE????? COMPLETELY INADEQUATE PACKAGING FOR A LARGE GLASS FRONTED FRAME, NEEDLES TO SAY THE GLASS WAS SMASHED, LUCKILY THE PAINTING WAS NOT DAMAGED, SPENT HOURS PICKING OUT SHARDS OF GLASS FROM THE PAINTING
