Good, Better, Best Experience
Both rugs were shipped ahead 0f schedule and are exactly as described. In truth, they are better than what I expected. I will keep this auction house on my personal "Top Ten", and hope to do business with them in the future.

Terrible, the most unprofessional upper level staff we've ever experienced
Our experience with Bidhaus was a nightmare for our interior design business. We purchased a John-Richard bench marketed as antique/vintage, only to discover after delivery that it required significant undisclosed restoration work. The damage was serious enough that we obtained two professional restoration bids. We later discovered the identical bench is widely available new for significantly less, making the antique/vintage marketing misleading. What followed was costly and time-consuming: pickup and return transport, delivery coordination, restoration evaluations, repair costs, and fallout with our client. Bidhaus initially offered to split restoration costs, effectively acknowledging the issue, then reversed course and hid behind legal boilerplate, an “as-is” clause, and an unrealistic reporting window despite the need for professional inspection. Leadership was slow, dismissive, and unwilling to pursue a fair resolution despite documented estimates and substantial related expenses. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding this matter, which we have never had to do before. We will not purchase from Bidhaus again and strongly encourage buyers to proceed with caution.

The bronze I purchased was ultimately determined to be inaccurately described and misrepresented. My initial concerns were not handled properly at the customer support level, and automatic payment processing through LiveAuctioneers proceeded despite my request that the item not be shipped while the matter was being reviewed. However, my overall experience with Bidhaus was ultimately very positive. Once upper management became aware that the issue had not been handled according to company procedure, they personally contacted me, reviewed the matter in detail, apologized, and took immediate steps to correct the situation. I appreciated the professionalism, transparency, and accountability demonstrated by senior management throughout the resolution process. Because of the way the matter was ultimately handled, I consider Bidhaus a company led by individuals with strong professionalism and integrity. I will continue to follow their auctions and would recommend them based on the care and seriousness with which upper management addressed my concerns.

Great Experience Overall
I had a great experience with Bidhaus, shipping on my item was delayed a bit but they did reach out and keep me posted on all updates. Once the item arrived it was beautifully wrapped and secure. The item was in excellent condition and was just as described. I'd happily bid on another of their auctions and would trust their descriptions and shipping process.

Very happy with my purchase
This was my first time bidding on anything. I got a lab grown 2.98 CT oval diamond. It was an impulse buy and at first I thought what in the world did I just do, because I bid on a picture. However, today I received the diamond in mail and I don't regret it at all. The diamond is beautiful, the IGI numbers match up and honestly I got it for a steal. I know there are others complaining about the fees, but they are stated up front. Sure it seems like a bit much but you have to read everything. I've gathered from my research that most auctions are like this with crazy fees. But ultimately I got a great deal and I'm happy with it. Shipping was fairly fast, I received it about a week after my purchase. They were also responsive when I asked a question asking for the IGI number and gave me the information I was asking for. I can't say anything bad about this purchase. What I got was what I bid on and the cost even with the fees still saved me a lot of money had I went to a jeweler and purchased the diamond. I would definitely purchase from them again.

Bidhaus doesn't charge for shipping and their seller's premium is a tiny bit less than most.
Bidhaus also sends the items fairly quick, but items are always well packed and arrive quick once shipped.

Awful experience. Will never buy from them again!
Although I live 25 miles away and offered to pick up the table, I was forced to use their designated delivery company. The cost from their chosen company was almost as high as the table itself, meaning any "bargain" I thought I was getting instead became overpaying. Then to add insult to injury, Bidhaus selected the slowest version possible, so it took me more than a month to actually get the table. I was given a delivery date, then it change while I was waiting for the table. When it was finally delivered, the delivery company refused to bring it even to my door-after I paid nearly $500 to have a side table delivered 25 miles away, let alone unbox it and bring it inside. I had to argue with the delivery company to even get it there from the end of my driveway.

Smooth, easy process with Bidhaus
Bidhaus does in-house shipping, which makes the whole process of buying a smooth experience. I have always found bidding a fun experience and there have never been any hiccups with Bidhaus. I think photos can always be better. Especially for purses, women want to see the interior and storage. But, I was not disappointed with this item at all.

Shipping Policy is extremely deceptive
Take a look at their shipping policy. It's FREE SHIPPING except for... and they go on to list pretty much every thing you would ever buy from them. I bought a photograph that they considered "art" for instance. I get it, but also it's unclear. If you buy a spoon, it'll cost you shipping, fabric, cost you shipping, furniture, signatures, collectibles, etc. All of it. They need to remove FREE SHIPPING from their policy.

I accidentally bid on an item and was outbid, then the next day I recieved an email saying I had won and an invoice for wayyyy more then I was willing to pay. When I asked to have my order cancelled since I hadnt even intended to bid on the item, I was told my only options were to either pay in full and just get a store credit, or pay the buyer's premium ($1, 200) and get nothing in return. The items they list are not theirs, they are random listings from other websites using the exact same images. Incredibly unhelpful and unresponsive when I asked for help

Looks Nothing like photo!
Avoid Auction House!! We noticed the bag and liked images and description. We read policy and it said to read description and take note of photos as they were both to act as the physical description and item description. Then, we saw another auction house with identical photos, and then a second auction house, a third and forth auction house using the identical photos for auctions occurring 2, 3 and 3-1/2 weeks later. We ultimately won the auction and we kept messaging the auction house about why the item we won had identical photos in other auctions yet to run and how could we trust we’d actually get the item shown? They told us they use “REPRESENTATIVE PHOTOS” and it states as Much in their terms and conditions. We wrote a review stating the same thing and they responded stating that it says to read the terms and conditions and they offer to provide additional photos in the two weeks before the auction (mind you-if you ask too soon to the end of the auction, they will deny your request for additional photos as they will claim they don’t have enough time to procure them. And, if you join the app less than two weeks before the auction ends, you will fall into the position of requesting those photos too soon to the end of the auction to no fault of your own.) So, 3 days to the end of the auction we join the app. We look around and later in the next day see new auctions for the same item we bid upon. We make our inquiry into the duplicate photos and they tell us they use “representative photos.” Our bid in binding and we won. They wouldn’t provide photos as they deemed it was too close to the end of the auction. So we won a bag the auction house sampled from multiple bags. Only one photo belonged to the bag. 1) it does NOT state they use “representative photos” in their terms and conditions. They stated they use them after we questioned them via private messaging. They state to look at the images supplied and read the inspection report. CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH!

They use “REPRESENTATIVE PHOTOS”
Unbeknownst to the buyer, Bidhaus admitted to us in writing they utilize “REPRESENTATIVE PHOTOS” that may or may not reflect that actual bag they are selling. The bag may have already sold, may not be the bag in the listing, may be a bag in a different auction houses ’ auction, may have sold on a different platform, and even still, they will use these photos and state for the buyer to read the condition report and view the photos they provided (again, NOT OF THE ACTUAL ITEM BECAUSE THEY ARE “REPRESENTATIVE PHOTOS”) and bid accordingly. If you want to ask for more photos, ensure you haven’t just joined the app and are asking for images as they will tell you no. They will say the “representative photos” and listing have been up for two weeks and you had ample time to ask and will deny you the courtesy. If you want to cancel because their cancelation policy is of course in their favor where they comes their 25 % commission. These bags are on every other website, which we pointed out as well, even after they sold, so again, it is bait and switch. They show you photos of a bag, no, you don’t get the bag, you get a “representative” bag that is in the style of the photos but not with the same flaws, same coloration, same Murakami pattern, same water marks, same creases or anything else. As an artist in a prior incarnation in my life, I can look at a photo and a bag a see how the two are not alike easily. Bidhaus requires it to be different by more than 10 %. The measurements were off by more than 10 % and even that wasn’t enough. That was OBJECTIVE data, not SUBJECTIVE to light and shadows. Avoid the app as a whole. We spoke to other auction houses who presented the same photos after we won-they ran the photos of the bags we won even after we shared the lots numbers of the items we won. The con is rampant across multiple houses.

Great first experience-lovely item
As a new member who never had any auction experience, things couldn't have been easier. The necklace arrived as i expected it based on the listing and its gorgeous. I was nervous about how it would be arranging shipping but they make it easy for you! Shipping wait time was worth it.

Buyer beware!!
Terrible Auction house. Packing was horrific. Many glass pieces missing from box which isn't a surprise based on the fact no bubble wrap was used. You lie to your customers and your shipping department customer service is terrible. $800 worth of items and shipping and it may have well as been from the dollar store with how you packed it. Pending credit card dispute! Couldn't pick up because their listing lied about where the item was! Jon from shipping department has an attitude and has no idea how to deal with customer issues or service. My sconces have a $1.00 price tag on them when I received them. They are misrepresented and now waste of money since there are several pieces missing. Emailed for refund and you want to charge me $120 penalty and get nothing. Terrible auction and will never deal with again. Misrepresented all aspects of this transaction. Buyer beware!!!
