Hasty Purchase-Personal Folly
After some review upon receiving the item, I have some concern about it's validity. I do understand that its an auction and buyer beware and I might have pulled the trigger hastily. I have an appointment with an appraiser next week but I am almost positive that this is a decent copy. With that said, it presents well and I am happy with the image. It is just not an original. It was however shipped promptly and the auction house was reasonable with the time frame and communication

Very disappointed
Won it paid for it and 15 days later were told item is lost by usps in transit. Dont believe the story.

Scam
Tried to retract 7 bids an hour before the auction. Was able to retract 2. Then this came up “We are experiencing problems with our servers at this time. Try again later.” $1, 800 later I’m stuck with some fake art. My stupidity for getting screwed. Should have known better.

buzz with a big name
Not everything in a can is a coke... Seller attracts with a big name, but the sketch is far from convincing. Too expensive for a copy-cat sketch... Okay, everybody learns by making mistakes...

If it's too good to be true probably is....
We ordered 5 prints and all five arrived damage. Honestly, felt too good to be true and it is. as an aside, if these were real prints sending them unpadded, without any support in USPS mail would be relatively unheard of so if you're wondering if it's too good to be true-it is. These are glorified reproduction prints, probably not worth more than $5. Luckily all my the prints arrived damaged due to shipping and the Auction House immediately agreed to refund the purchase as long as I returned everything (they did, without issue). Wouldn't purchase anything from them again but they did at least process the return with no issues/no hassle/relatively no drama.

Misrepresented-not a “print” in the true art sense
The Erte print I received was a poor quality color enlargement of the corner of an Erte work, embossed with a stamp that anyone could have made which says “private NY collection”. It is not a “print” which would be associated by definition in the art community, but a fuzzy blow up of the partial work of an Erte, but not a print by Erte or his studio. I should have questioned why only one image was shown.
