There was some confusion about payment. Partly my fault, but it was ironed out and resolved. Other than that there were no other problems and the item was sent and received in a timely manner. Happy to do business with Peng Long Auction, Inc.

I bought 2 paintings on Nov 9 and still have not the payment instruction. My experience with Peng Long is as follows: A. They shill bid. They bid against me with both situations. Until I stopped my bids on 2 paintings, they retracted theirs bid and gave me the paintings. B. Got my invoice and they charged me transaction tax 25 % on top of the 5 % commission stated on their site. I questioned what the transaction tax was for. They couldn’t explain. Finally they agreed to charge only 5 % commissionon top of the winning bids. Got the corrected invoice, they requested me to pay through Liveaucutioneers but without payment instruction. C. After one week, they claimed one of the 2 paintings was sent back to the consignor and apologised that painting was not available. I emailed them my bid was a legal bond and requested to get my painting. D. Another week went by and I requested to settle at least the other painting that I won that they claimed that was still in their warehouse while continued to look for the other painting. They replied I had to wire transfer the payment to Hong Kong. BUT, on lIveauctiuonners, they claimed this auction was in New York. Very tricky!!! E. Since then, I have not heard from them!!! What a mess!!! Wonder any high bidders share the same experience as me?
