Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my recent Omnia Auctions purchase experience. The lots I acquired are fine items and I was contacted very promptly after the completion of the auction to wrap up the sale, and everything was very carefully packaged and shipped within a few days... a truly exceptional customer service experience. extra charge customs fees
Very high shipping and customs fees, I paid 45 % customs, it's ridiculous! I feel robbed!

Dear Martin: Thank you for your feedback. You have misdirected your criticism and anger on this issue. We do not have any control over custom fees. These charges and fees are controlled by the government. It may be the case where you want to speak with your local elected representative about your feelings/thoughts on customs/import fees, charges or duties as it is only your elected officials and government who affect change. We charged you a nominal $36 shipping charge on the international shipment. Our cost to purchase the shipping label alone was $34.96 and this does not include our labor to pack or supplies. I feel strongly that our shipping rate was more than fair. Your issue with the transaction is elsewhere and I do not feel it accurate or correct to direct it at us. We do appreciate your business. Secured Packaging
The gold arrived very secure. It was wrapped in three layers of bubble wrap and 3 layers of boxes. Lets just say this was the most secure I ever received such products and though it was a difficult time getting them out, I feel confident that no one was getting any idea of what the items were.

High quality auction service and fantastic and reasonably priced in-house shipping
I purchased a large lot of multiple glass items in the auction, having no idea what shipping might cost. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the auction house offers in-house shipping and the price was very reasonable, far less than it would have been from any outside shipping firm. Not only did they provide the service at a fair and reasonable price, but each piece was wrapped extremely well in multiple layers of bubble wrap and then wrapped in cardboard. The box that the group arrived in was huge because of all the careful packing. Everything arrived safe and sound with no damage whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this auction house to other buyers based on this experience.
