Rather than focusing solely on famous names or historic events, this auction honors the cabinetmakers, potters, artists, schoolgirls, immigrants, craftsmen, and collectors whose work and stewardship have preserved America's material legacy for future generations. For 250 years, Americans have expressed their ideals, aspirations, creativity, and identity through the objects they made and cherished. From masterfully crafted furniture and folk art to patriotic symbols, fine needlework, stoneware, carvings, and extraordinary works of self-taught artistry, these objects tell the story of a nation through the hands of its people. For generations of American families, some of life's happiest memories were made during childhood and around the holidays. The toys we cherished, the decorations we unpacked each season, the mechanical wonders that delighted us in shop windows, and the traditions passed from one generation to the next became part of our shared American story. Packed to Perfection
Auction House Staff was incredibly helpful and polite when I called with questions ss this was my first time bidding with them & I am a State away, so pickup was not possible. Due to value and fragility of items I was concerned with inadequate packaging and the potential of it breaking. They assured extra packaging and insurance. It was flawless and i am so happy & Thankful!
