In the heart of Paris, in the prestigious rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, PIASA, a French auction house, showcases a unique identity through its cutting edge selections in art and design. Bolstered by regular collaborations with great interior designers, its artistic line is its signature. Combining elegance and authenticity, PIASA reinvents traditions by associating creativity and modernity. PIASA was created in October 1996 in the historical district of the rue Drouot in Paris. In 2008, Artemis, owner of PIASA since 2001, sold 60% of its capital to a group of private investors within the Financiere Piasa company, which will go on to acquire the totality of the capital in 2011. About thirty people make up the PIASA team in Paris, along with representatives in France and abroad. PIASA's reputation is built on its rigor, care, and know-how. Thanks to a team of specialists and representatives abroad, PIASA has been providing his customers for more than 20 years with its expertise and knowledge of the market.

Condition report omitted obvious flaw
Asked and received a condition report for my lot, some small damage was reported accurately, but no pictures were sent with the report-when I received the item a very obvious flaw was present with no mention on the report, I asked if there were photos and they sent a number which showed the flaw. Quite deceptive to (of course) not mention the flaw, but also to not send photos when asking for condition information... Unlikely that I would do business with them again.

This auction house is not to be trusted
i was the winning bidder on a noguchi light, they came up with some "mistake" that was made by their colleague and then claimed I did not win the light...... will never bid with this auction house again.

Hopeless Auction House
Despite 10 messages to the auction house I received 2 responses with no help to get an invoice and to arrange collection. I am now exhausted to know what to do. They are either incompetent or too busy demonstrating in the streets. They are to be avoided at all costs.
