Be Careful when bidding on coins from this Auction House

They use an address in Nee Zyork City that I moved out of 5 years ago. I now live in North Carolina. I called 5 times and they told me it was changed to my correct address. It never was. I will no longer bid on this auction. It’s not worth my time or the aggravation in trying to get them to do the right thing

This was my first time buying and I was so very impressed with all the help I received when I call them. They were more than helpful and every way, even when it comes to shipping, I had questions and they had all the right answers very nice and very friendly all the time as if you were standing at their desk thank you

As this was my first public auction experience, I blame myself for the failure to properly vet Gold Standard Auctions. I will no longer participate in on-line auctions via live event or otherwise and will limit my on-line purchasing to Whatnot alone. They care about their business and protect the buyers at every turn. Buyers 'premiums are theft and the shipping charges are a crime. The coins that were offered as lightly circulated were worn. All of the raw coins I were cleaned. I even received a coin that was so mangled (and also cleaned) that I was tempted to throw it in the trash bin (it cost $200!). The damage was not disclosed. I called and left a message to discuss my situation, and no one took the time to return my call. These folks, I was told, is a family run business. If that's true (and I doubt that it is) they're run by the mob. Anyway, save you money. Got to coin shows and shops for your coins. Between the bad quality, the buyer's premium and dealing with people who don't give a ********** about quality customer service, take a pass on GSA!
