This rare and unique vintage collection includes very fine carpets from Iran Pakistan Suzanne and Peking Chinese rugs and from the most renowned rug-making region in Turkey. The Persian carpets are vintage and are hand-knotted palace quality weave carpets and include 1920's fine beautiful rug Saruq Mahajan from Iran hand woven wool ,Tabriz fine knots per square inch Kashan, Heriz, Sherivan, Saruq, Serapi and Bijar designs. These Persian carpets are unique and rare in colors and condition; hand-knotted in Iran in the 1940s. Some are fine new carpets. The Turkish carpet collection includes unique Yastkis and antique rugs, which rarely come to market. The Yastkis are hand-knotted in the cities of Malatya and Yastkis in the eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. All these precious carpets are artistically designed with themes and motifs from the country's most prestigious rug-making regions. Beautiful Quality from a Highly Professional Auction House
The key to all of this is COMMUNICATION. Steve with Ahon with highly professional in answer my pre-bid questions. Once I won the rug he immediately reached out to explain next steps. He shipped 48 hours later, sent photos of the package rug along with tracking info and followed up upon receipt. Absolutely the most professional experience. And the rug is as beautiful as he claimed.
