Artwork was misrepresented. Don't trust this auctioneer.
Artwork was misrepresented. Don't trust this auctioneer. The size of the piece was far from accurate and grossly understated. I never would've bid if the item description was accurate. Had shipping problems that damaged the piece. Contacted the auction house for remediation and never got a response. Don't trust this firm.

Description and chandeliers bidding
I got my marble girl at an inflated price, after I was hooked by a chandelier bidder that in the end, after I surrendered, did retract the last bid. Without this technique, I would’ve paid half the price. I don’t say that Link was involved, but they should not allow to retract bids just for phone bidders, and not for everyone. The auction was not on video so I did not know what was going on. So, after a very long wait, for me to bid further, after I logged out of the session, the last bid was retracted and I “won”. On top of everything, the marble was not repaired properly, feet came off with transportation with minimum amount of pressure. I got items from Link before, but this time was not a good buy or experience.

Great Experience, Easy Shopping!
Was searching in earnest for a chair that matched one that my grandpa rescued from a fire in downtown Seattle from his Attorney's office that my sister inherited. I found the match! We're told there is a set of 2 different NorthWind faced chairs, who knows.... might be my next purchase. Wish the shipping was part of the purchase. I was provided a list of third party to shippers. (2 of which never responded which was fustrating. Chair arrived safely and nicely packed.)

Remember that they do not have in house delivery
I really liked everything about Link Auctions, expect that they do not ship. I needed to deal with an outside shipper, which is always an extra pain. Other than that, they were great. I gave them an overall 5 star despite shipping aggravation.

Description not accurate/no communication
This is my experience/opinion of this auction house. Purchased a large piece of artwork. Artwork was listed as Masonite and with a title (cosmic fury). I asked for a condition report and they replied with it has chips along the edges. I had to ask for an invoice. Days past by. Most auction houses automatically send one. I drove 8 hours to pick up the artwork. Paying cash upon pickup. You have to pay before you see the item you won. At least that’s how it was handled with me. The artwork was extremely heavy. The reason for that is it’s on Plywood, not Masonite. When I questioned it, she replied that’s what we mean when we say on board, hmm. After getting it loaded. I drive back home 8 hours. I take the artwork to my frames and she says. I thought it was on Masonite. I said it’s supposed to be. It’s advertised that way. After we get it on the table and I get a chance to look at the back. There is no title. So, this is an untitled piece. Let’s add there is a split in the plywood. That was never mentioned in the condition report. I reached out to the auction house in hopes of a resolution. That was 5 days ago. No response. I purchase many items on live auctioneers. Always a good experience. I feel so ripped off.

Misrepresented Item-Reproduction
The auction house misrepresented a mid 20th century reproduction for a 19th century piece. That's a major faux pas. I will never buy from them again.
