Everything went smoothly until the time for delivering the purchased item arrived. It took an excruciating three weeks after the auction to receive the item. The packaging was impeccable, and the item was in excellent condition. However, the primary issue was the poor communication and lack of timely delivery.

Quality experience all the way around. Will definitely keep an eye on this auction house!

My experience was good. I would bid with them again.

My transaction with Boyd auctions was very successful. The auction house packaged and shipped my item themselves when a back up with the planned shippers occurred. I really appreciated the care that was taken and the communication I received from them and would gladly do business with them again. The shipping. rate I received was very reasonable and my item arrived in perfect condition.

This was my first purchase through this auction house and it certainly won't be my last. I purchased a lot of various styles of semiprecious gemstone jewelry and what I received exceeded my expectations. Every piece of jewelry was even better than what was pictured, and all of it was extremely high end quality gemstones. Not only did this auction house exceed in my expectations with their merchandise, but the owners were fabulous too. I live within a few hours from this particular auction house and I was making arrangements to pick up my items until the owners offered to drop off my winnings to me! I couldn't believe it just how kind of an offer this was. This was not a normal situation, so anyone reading this review, please don't think that they do this all the time. It just so happened that they were going to be in my area that particular week. Well, needless to say, this worked out GREAT for me and I'll never forget it. So, overall, if you've never purchased from Boyd auctions, do not hesitate. They sell high quality items, very easy to work with and well worth your time and money. I hope to see them reopen soon because I would love to do business with them again. Thank you Boyd auction house!

Terrible shipping company. Item was sent to the wrong address when I contacted the shipping company they wanted to charge me again to re-ship it I paid $48 for an item it cost 99 to ship it, went to the wrong address and they wanted to charge me $99 again I suggest boyd auctions find a better shipping company

The auction house is excellent in these ways: Low buyer's premium; Quick invoice; Very easy payment system; shipping agent was closely associated with auction house. The one negative was the picture had condition issues.. mainly paper loss. There was no condition info with the lot (and it was not apparent in the pictures. I did not request a condition report and should have.
