Don't hold your breath
Overall, my experience with Attic to Auction was a mixed bag. The item arrived safely, was packaged extremely well, and the description was accurate. My main issue was communication. After I won the auction, I reached out to the seller several times to ask about shipping, since I am a new user on LiveAuctioneers and still learning how the process works. The seller was so excruciatingly slow to respond that I started to wonder whether I had been scammed. In total, I waited about a week for any shipping update. I understand this appears to be a one-person operation, but a quick reply outlining estimated processing times, especially after I agreed to release my item to a third-party shipper, would have been very helpful. In the end, I contacted LiveAuctioneers customer service, who then reached out to the seller on my behalf. Only after that did I finally hear back. Overall, it was draining to feel like I had to nag the seller just to get a basic update, without any clear sense of what was happening with my item. I spent a significant amount of money, and as a new user on the platform my anxieties were naturally high that I had sent money into the dark. It should be the seller’s top priority to clearly state their terms, processing times, and how they handle shipping updates.

We responded to the buyer immediately-the same day, when they requested shipper information. Additionally, this information is on the buyers invoice and our terms and condition. Unfortunately, this is a new buyer who became very impatient despite our immediate response.

I had a problem with the time I was to pick up my items and they were understanding and a new time was set. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

In my case, inaccurate description. "Hand signed autographed 1973 comic strip WIZARD OF ID Daye 1973 by Field enterprises." is actually a print and also the signature and dedication are printed, not handmade.

Great auction and customer service. THE BEST IN TOWN!
This was a very fine auction with amazing antiques and glass items. Mary and her staff were extremely helpful in providing boxes and helping me pack my very fragile items to take home. They were lovely to chat with and took extra time with me to make sure everything was perfect and secure. Thank you, Mary!

THE Best Christmas Sale I've ever seen online! Great selection and service.
This auction sale was amazing. There were hundreds of Christmas brand name item. Mary and her staff let me preview and take as much time as needed to look at everything before I decided to bid. She was so kind, funny and friendly. I feel like I have new friends at attic to auction. Everyone is so pleasant! I am also going to start sending my stuff to sell through Mary's company!

AMAZING JEWELRY AUCTION WITH ACCURATE DESCRIPTIONS
I was thrilled to participate in Attic To Auctions, annual Christmas jewelry auction. I have look forward to their Christmas jewelry auction every year. The variety and quality is amazing. Their descriptions are very accurate. I'm never disappointed. Mary even put some of the items in jewelry gift boxes at no cost so I could give items as gifts! EXCELLENT Service!

SUPER FUN ITEMS WITH A GREAT VARIETY
This had to be one of the most fun auctions I've participated in. The variety of NEW items for the holidays was exceptional! Attic to Auction doesn't consign and sell antiques, but clearly NEW collections also. There were so many great Halloween and Christmas items I won. They held the items for me until I could arrange pick up. Mary is super accommodating and understanding if you can't get your items on pick up day. This is by far my favorite Auction house!

Great Auction House

Excellent Customer Service
Mary was fantastic to work with. I am out of state and needed much more cost effective shipping than what was being displayed on the LA website estimate. Mary helped me get the items packaged and shipped off very cost effectively. I will visit their auctions again!

Shipping a Hassle and Expensive
I buy a lot of things at auction and I know shipping costs are high, but Live Auctioneers shipping wanted $53 to ship 10 small pairs of earrings! So, I went with the UPS Store recommended by the auction house. It took several emails and phone calls to even get a quote and then it was about $35 to ship them. Seriously? 10 small pairs of pierced earrings that fit in a 2 x 3 inch box? I'll be bidding elsewhere, where the auction house provides shipping in house and doesn't over charge.

Frustrating experience
Customer service was extremely frustrating. I waited for call-backs several times and they were promised but didn't come. It took way too long to get in touch to get my invoice finally paid over the phone, and then the headache of shipping began. Due to poor customer service and hassles with finding a company to finally ship, I don't recommend and won't do business again. My boxes arrived finally yesterday with two broken items, so the nightmare isn't over.

We accommodated this buyer when she was restricted from paying on the platform by Live Auctioneers. The delay was due to payment issues not our service. Additionally, we sent her items immediately to a local shipper for packaging. I believe this behavior by her may have been why she was restricted in the first place? Lesson learned by us to avoid risky bidders like this. For this reason she will likely be restricted on the platform.

Lovely merchandise handled with care.
I purchased four fragile items, all in their original boxes from the manufacturer. The items arrived to me in excellent condition, just as shown in the photos. The packing process was very well done. I couldn’t have asked for a better result.
