One of The Best Auction Houses

Sales and Shipping Not on the Same Page
I've won two pieces from Amaradio Auctions and I had a similar experience with both of them-in both cases I arranged shipping and had the shipper contact the Auction House to schedule a pick up. In both cases, someone from Amaridio emailed me threatening to start charging storage fees because they hadn't heard from me regarding shipping, when they absolutely had. I don't like receiving threats, especially when I've acted appropriately and followed the rules that Amaridio set forth. These interactions (which I've never experienced with any other Auction House) are unpleasant and will stop me from bidding in an Amaridio Auction again. Furthermore, when both of the pieces arrived, I felt that they'd been overpriced and, had I had a better description and understanding from the Auction House, I wouldn't have bid on them. In both cases I won because I bid at the opening price and no one bid higher than the opening price-which tells me that the opening price was set too high. In my opinion, when I saw the pieces in person, I overpaid for both pieces.

Hello! We make it clear that customers/shippers have to reach out to us and explicitly state that they will be late picking up. A customer or shipper letting us know that shipping has been arranged is not a notification of a late pick up (as stated). So that is why you received a storage email. If you let us know you will be late, there are no issues, as we will not send items to storage and we will put them aside without charge. This is the customers duty to fully understand prior to bidding. As for you thinking the lots were overpriced, this is an auction. We would recommend you not bid to a certain number if you are not comfortable with it. We are sorry for your poor experience.

Another Enjoyable Experience Buying from Amaradio Auctions
The items that I bought at this auction arrived just today (February 16, 2023), and I was pleased to see them at last. This is my second time participating in one of the auctions at Amaradio. I got very helpful answers to my questions, allowing me to make well-informed decisions about what to bid on. I enjoy knowing as much as possible about the manufacturer of the furniture that I've bought, which is possible when there's a tag on the bottom of the chair or a stamp on the inside of a drawer. Amaradio Auctions includes pictures of these tags in their listings, which has allowed me to do some research and learn about the history of the company. Some of the items being offered are so unique, pieces that you would never see anywhere else. Once again, this was a very positive buying experience for me!

Shipping contractors need vetting
It’s hard to say how satisfied I am as I have never not been able to get any form of communication back from the shipper once I paid him. The auction house were extremely helpful when I contacted them about the shipper. I have never received my items and the shipper did not communicate with me from when I paid him. Over $400 payment and he now has my products. I am happy with the auction house however I now look for in house shipping after this experience.

Hey Toni! Sorry you had a bad experience with this shipper. We have reached out to him numerous times, and he has always responded to us personally. He told us he emailed you a few times, and he has yet to receive a reply (he will ship as soon as you reply). Amaradio Auctions is not involved with shipping or packing services. They are completely separate from us. Customers are welcome to use any shipper of their choice. I will say though, this would be the first time I have received a complaint about any shipper on our list. We have since removed the shipper from our list of 3rd party shippers so this incident will not happen again..

Bidders BEWARE!!! Terrible Experience
The item that I purchased was misrepresented in the photos. I’ve purchased hundreds of auction items online. My experience with Amaradio Auctions was the first time that I’ve ever written a negative review. The photos were misleading. The item was actually broken and falling apart. This auction house charged a 28 % fee. Why would an auction house sell something in this bad of a condition and not mention this? Misleading. When I contacted them they responded that bidders can ask any questions and everything is sold as is. Having a policy that only has the aim to protect themselves is not reasonable. For the 28 % additional charge to the buyer there should be some work done to educate the bidder. It’s clear that Amaradio Auction only has one business aim.

Hello! 1.) We explicitly state customers are expected to read, and fully understand our policies prior to bidding. This would have included you understanding we do not hand pick our items, we sell what we get for the month as items come directly out of estates and houses. 2.) Every single item that we sell has a condition report on it explicitly stating to reach out if you have any questions in regards to condition. Some even have detailed condition reports. 3.) The photos in our auctions typically do the pieces justice. Sam does a great job with the pictures, but here and there something may not be visible in the photos. You, the customer, are suppose to reach out if you have any questions in regards to condition, as stated. 4.) You stating "Amaradio Auctions only has one business aim" basically saying that we are trying to rip people off is asinine, false and defamation. Judging by us being a top rated seller and the vast majority of our reviews being extremely positive, our reputation speaks for itself.

Need to provide more detailed photos but I would recommend them & use them again
Very easy to work with and responsive to the customer. The only item I would say needs improvement is the lack of detailed photos. Even using an enlarged view you are unable to note blemishes and breaks. I am happy with my purchase. It had more broken areas then I thought but in truth I would have purchasing it anyway. I certainly would recommend them and use them again.

A Great Experience from Start to Finish!
This was my first time dealing with Amaradio Auctions. I wrote to them before this auction to inquire about a particular item, and they answered my questions thoroughly. I also called after the auction to provide them with the details of the gentleman who would be picking up my purchases. Jason was very helpful on the phone and gave me some background information about the origin of the mirror that I bought. When the items arrived, I was delighted with everything! The furniture looked better in person than in the pictures online. I would recommend to everyone reading this review to be proactive and ask all of your questions well in advance of the auction date. When it comes to the condition of any item, ask specific questions either in writing or by phone until you are satisfied. Amaradio Auctions is a business that cares about its customers. If you become a repeat customer, they will get to know you, which makes things even easier provided that you communicate with them. The selection of furniture is great, and there's always something unusual. I look forward to doing business with them again soon!

ACCURATE LISTING, INCREDIBLY SUPPORTIVE
(1) The lot purchased: The listing accurately described the item (2 chairs) and their condition. By reading a bunch of their listings, it seemed that items with issues had a description of the issue (s) and the items in good or better condition were simply described as "good" or without any descriptive. I liked that and thought it very helpful. The chairs are, in fact, in very good condition. (2) Support: It was also my first time bidding in which I had to arrange for a large shipment from my end. I had previously bid only locally. I had issues from my end and my shipper's end. Amaradio was supportive and responsive-always almost instantly responding and always helpful, very pleasant, and very reassuring. It was a great experience. I recommend unconditionally.
