Prompt and helpful responses. Item as descibed, in pristine condtion
Collective Hudson was wonderful: helpful, prompt and the item was presented honestly. I would happily purchase again from this auction house. Highly recommended. Unfortunately the shipping process through LiveAuctioneers was less satisfactory: very slow and hampered by failure to attach proper documentation on the package. Despite frustration with the shipping process Packengers did a fabulous job of packing the sculpture!!!!

According to our records, your lot was released from our facility on February 26, and a release confirmation email was sent on February 27. Because you selected LiveShipping through LiveAuctioneers, the shipping process and delivery timeline are handled by their shipping partner once the item leaves our premises. Unfortunately, we do not control their packing or transit speed. For a better understanding please email ********** Around that same time, there was also a significant snowstorm that caused shipping delays in the region. We understand that does not make the wait any less frustrating, but we did want to provide that context. Buyers are always welcome to choose their own preferred shipper if they would like more direct control over timing and communication. Shipping options and related terms are outlined on our website and in the invoice instructions.

Never Received Item, Tracking Shows Not Delivered
It has been three months since I paid for my item. You have charged my credit card and marked my account as item received. It has not been received, and tracking shows it was never received by UPS. You also charged me over $200 to pack and ship a framed $30 poster. Do not expect any customer service if you buy here. And plan on filing with your credit card company.

It took over a month for packengers to get the lamp to me.
Collective Hudson was fine. Live auctioneers packengers took over a month to deliver my package. It was packed well. I paid an exorbitant fee for poor service.

We’re sorry to hear you felt the experience was frustrating and appreciate the chance to clarify what happened. Our gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday, and we are closed on Sundays and Mondays. These hours are listed on all invoices, in our terms and conditions, on our website, on Google, and in our email signature. For this lot: • Your shipper first called us after hours on a Friday evening. • I returned the call first thing Saturday morning, explained our hours, and also offered to go out of our way to help: either by personally driving in (over an hour, with my son) if we could get a firm time window, or by having someone come in early that day, but only before 1:30 PM, since we were closed. • We did not receive a callback with a time frame on Saturday. • The next communication we received was on Monday, the day we are closed, with a request that the shipper pick up the item that same day. The email from the bidder came about 15 minutes before 4 PM on Monday, again on a day we are not open. At that point, with no prior confirmation and the gallery closed, we were not able to safely open the building and release property on such short notice. This wasn’t an attempt to “hold” your lot — only a matter of respecting our posted hours and staffing limitations. The lot remains available for pickup during our regular business hours, and we are always happy to coordinate with shippers with reasonable advance notice. Business hours are not universal and vary from one business to another, but we do our best to accommodate special requests when we have enough time to plan.

Collectively terrific!
This was my first time interacting with Collective Hudson and I cannot report anything but a truly positive experience in every way-from communications, answering my questions about arranging pick-up, to being present and helpful when my item was picked up. Every part of the transaction was handled expertly and professionally!

Excellent customer service
I was really nervous because I never had to coordinate with my own shipping, but the Collective Hudson team was incredibly responsive and helpful in making it a seamless process. I am very impressed, and the delivery was my item was perfect. I highly recommend Collective Hudson, they have a really strong and responsive team.

Gorgeous, rare, high quality item
I received my item and it was just as described. There are multiple photographs from different angles to get a good idea of the item in its entirety. I had a question about shipping and the response time was very good and the explanation was thorough. I received my item very well packed by the shipping service provided by Live Auctioneers. Very happy with my won item and my interactions with this fine, reputable Auction House.

Very helpful with Shipping
Had difficulty with two shippers (Country Postman & UPS-Kingston) who I contacted to ship my items but both had very poor communication and lacked any effort to review my two lots, determine a shipping price, and do the work for me. After spending over two weeks with no results or follow-up, the auction house took care of my problem for me. Thank you to Collective Hudson.
