They charged me well over $100 to ship something from North Jersey to Long Island (a small box too, with UPS Ground Advantage, UPS 'cheapest shipping service). I understand charging a handling fee and a fee for materials used, but this was beyond excessive. Total scammers, AVOID!!!

There was an issue with shipping and they responded very quickly to my e-mail and resolved it immediately. Very nice job. Thank you.

Packaging for shipping seemed rather expensive

Purchased an item as a gift for a family member who lives near NJ Antiques. The item could not be shipped or it would have been prohibitively expense to do so. The gallery was very accomodating for them to make pickup arrangements. Excellent customer service! They really liked ths unusal gift. i told them on their way home from the gallery to pickup a six-pack of Bud to celebrate their new neon Budweiser electric sign. Thank you NJ Antiques!

I purchased this rug believing that the rug was made of silk, based on their description. When it arrived I learned that it is 95 % wool, with 5 % silk accents. Wool was not mentioned in the description. The difference in value between wool and silk is substantial, and I can only say that it would be helpful if your staff was more knowledgeable, knowing that living in Illinois I could not come and physically examine the rug before bidding. I should not have had to actually inquire of you if the rug was actually made of silk prior to bidding!

Bidding went very smoothly. I contacted the local New Jersey UPS store and got a packing and shipping quote. The UPS agent was very helpful when I phoned them. Auction item was packed very well and carefully. I was happy with the whole auction experience.
