I had a great experience with Richmond Auctions. A week after paying, I contacted Richmond auctions inquiring on when my item would be shipped. They responded the same day, saying it would go out later that week. They also said they would notify me when it shipped, which they did. I also recieved shipment updates lettign me know when to expect my item. I would absolutely deal with Richmond Auctions again. No worries at all!

Rifle shipped very quickly and payment and FFL handled well, fastest shipping of any auction house I have bought from. Only issue is the rifle was listed as mechanically excellent but every shell sticks in the chamber except for Mini Longs or shorts. Any long rifle sticks regardless, standard velocity or high velocity. It will shoot a. 50 cent size group at 25 yards but you have to punch out each round with a cleaning rod. Not very fun. In the future I wouldn't list anything as mechanically excellent unless I knew it actually functioned as designed. Thanks!

I participated in Richmond's second firearms auction. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and I continue to research the provenance of the matched pair of guns. I drove to Greenville from my home in N. C. to pick up the items so that I might meet the employees I had been conversing with and to see their operation. Great folks-couldn't have been nicer and a very attractive facillity. Check out and Federal paperwork smooth and seamless. I had not seen the printed catalogue for the sale. What an impressive job with beautiful photographs. I worked in the auction industry and this is one of the finest catalogs I have seen.
