The gun was a rare 1943 Sidelock Merkel 203E Over/Under 12 Gauge Shotgun, perfectly described and beautiful. A real work of gunmaker art. Communications were excellent and the item was very well packed and shipped promptly. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I participated in Richmond's second firearms auction. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and I continue to research the provenance of the matched pair of guns. I drove to Greenville from my home in N. C. to pick up the items so that I might meet the employees I had been conversing with and to see their operation. Great folks-couldn't have been nicer and a very attractive facillity. Check out and Federal paperwork smooth and seamless. I had not seen the printed catalogue for the sale. What an impressive job with beautiful photographs. I worked in the auction industry and this is one of the finest catalogs I have seen. I look forward to their next firearms auction and without doubt, I will be a bidder.
