Responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this auction house

The item is new, but the box (an essential part of this pen) is damaged. The seller did not describe the item, and when I asked a question, there was no reply. The cost of the shipping is very high.

This was my first time participating in an auction held by Trading Post Auctions and my first experience with a timed auction. A major concern was finding a shipper to pick up the dining room table and six chairs that I bought since they were located on Long Island, but I managed to find someone to do so within the two-week time frame. The Pietro Costantini table and chairs are absolutely stunning and arrived in good condition except for a chip in the veneer on the table top. As a dealer, I sometimes receive furniture that gets damaged in the moving process, especially when wood veneer is involved, which is frustrating. The six chairs were wrapped up beautifully in plastic by the auction house, so they arrived in fine condition. The photography in this auction was impeccable! There were abundant pictures of each item, and they were clear enough to show all of the details even when enlarged. This was a great buying experience from start to finish!

Publication is exactly as advertised. Excellent photos and an enlightening narrative about each photographer, and several photos for each. I gave shipping, by 3rd party, 4 stars because I felt not as well packed as I thought should be packed.
