I purchased an amount approaching a couple of dozen of Chinese historical coins earlier in 2023, and after authentication and grading, I discovered all coins offered here can be assumed to be counterfeit. Top Notch appears to be trying to address this with consignors, and indeed the authentication problem starts with consignors. Their redress was limited, as they only refunded some buyers 'premiums, but that was something of a gesture in a positive direction at least.

I won two items in the house, but one of them lost in shipping. I have no way to find it.

Although this auction has very nice items, I question the authenticity of the age and dynasty given by their assessors. The prices are also a little high however, you do receive what you bid on and paid for. This auction is somewhat more reliable for the purchase of Asian items than many of the other Asian auctions on Live Auctioneers, according to the reviews.
