I purchased a painting that was described as 6 x 8 inches (48 sq inches). When it arrived, it measures a little under 5 x 5 inches, half the advertised size. I have contacted both the auction house and LiveAuctioneers asking for a partial refund and have yet to get any response. This is not the first time I have bought something through Live Auctioneers that wasn't as advertised, and they are not terribly helpful. So be very careful and verify all details before you bid. Ask for additional pictures and a condition report. With such hefty buyer's commissions, we should be treated more like customers who deserve to be satisfied.

When my artwork arrived I was concerned. The old (mid-century) glass made the original artwork look very one-dimensional. I was concerned I had not received what had been described. I contacted the house and they urged me to have a professional framer remove the art from the vintage frame and inspect it. In fact, once removed from behind the opaque glass and from the very poor backing and mat, the artwork was stunning. exactly as promised. It is rare to have an auction house of this integrity and service to its customer.

Had an issue with authenticating a work. MTA was easy to contact and work with. Worked with me to resolve issue quickly and amicably. Refunded my purchase without arguments.

Their in house shipping is insanely high. Shipping a small box worth $100 from Florida to Texas should not cost $102.

I purchased and paid for a painting and paid for its shipping almost a month ago. I have tried to contact Miami Treasure Auctions several times by email and left phone message. No response whatsoever. The phone number provided goes to a voicemail that doesn't identify the business name. I have no idea if this is legitimate. Aside from an invoice paid email, there has been no information about my purchased item, no shipping or tracking information, and I have no idea how to contact anybody. Very unprofessional and concerning.

I had a very good experience with them. The item was well described, and well packed when shipped. My packing instructions were followed, and arrived in fine condition. They were very friendly whenever I called. I would bid with them again.

Working with this auctioneer was great. They paid attention to my location and instead of having me pay for additional shipping they went ahead and agreed to hold the item so I could personally drive down to pick it up saving me money and also ensuring that the item would not be damaged.
