I have purchased several pieces from this auction house and love every piece. They've exceeded my expectations. This particular item was a bit of a chore due to shipping. The art was held up until I paid the tariff. I was under the impression the tariffs had been rescinded by the US Supreme Court. The tariff was more than what I paid for the art. I realize that has to do with the shipper, DHL, and not the auction house, just be aware. I will be taking a break from auctioneers outside of the US until this issue has finally been litigated.

I received 2 works of art. I didn't realize there would be another painting on the back of the one I purchased. I love them both. The payment process was unexpected. The art being from the EU also required my bank to be in the EU in order to do a bank transfer. They also would not take my Capital One Discover debit, so be aware. The shipping was via DHL and although a signature was not required they still required me being at home to receive the package. I was out of town and had to sign up with DSL to have the package delivered to a neighbor, which I did, but lo and behold as I had just arrived home the DHL delivery arrived and the driver said he had no idea about me requesting it go to my neighbor. I do hope to continue to do business with this auction house. Live and learn.

Artwork arrived damaged and it too Live Auctions to intervene and get me a refund. The gallery did not respond to emails or messages sent through Live Auctions.

I won an item from Art Atelier and it took several months and several messages before an invoice was ever sent. During this time a dispute was filed making it difficult for me to participate in any bidding. Finally, I received the invoice and paid in full within 24 hours. Unfortunately, despite payment the dispute remained on my account continuing to make it difficult to bid. Finally, this week I received a package from Art Atelier and the box contained the wrong items. Needless to say I want to be refunded in full.

I've never dealt with an auction house that did a worse job of communicating. They took forever to ship my lots, shipping them in separate packages when the lots easily could have gone in one box, and they ignored me for weeks on end as I tried to get some insight into why everything was taking so long. I was extremely dissatisfied and will never purchase anything from them again. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience from beginning to end.

Wow! Won item on Monday, and had it in hand by Friday of the same week! Amazing! And perfectly packaged, too! Outstanding!!
