Their team delivered my purchases at a very reasonable price, and were very careful in my home and with the delivery of several pieces of furniture.

I won the bid and paid for the painting. JMW Auction Service helped put me in contact with a local shipping service. I had never experienced having something like this shipped and was aghast at the shipping cost of $400. Biting the bullet, my enthusiasm for having won the auction slipped away. When the shipment arrived, the heavy plaster scroll work of the beautiful frame was broken on all four corners. There was serious scraping and stretching on the painting itself. Despite many layers of bubble wrap, the painting was free to slide around in the cardboard box and was not protected from outside harm. I had expected the shipper to construct a wooden frame to hold and brace the painting. Didn't happen. The auction house and shipper refunded my total costs at their loss and my relief. Lesson learned.

I was very pleased that the shipping charges were reasonable. Many auction houses overpack and charge huge amounts for shipping. Theirs was within normal limits. I would absolutely bid with them again.

I had an issue with a lot I won was not being as described It was handled PROFESSIONALLY. I cant say enough about how happy I was with the outcome. Hinest, great group of folks! Bid with confidence

The artist was the author of many children's books about horses which I read growing up. I well remember the horse depicted in this painting. I was delighted to receive the painting!
