Unfortunately, consigned lots which come with brand new accessories, described as new in the box and never opened, are just that. This is rare to auction new unopened items but we cannot warrant past that. We are only able to describe and photograph items as shown. Lots are released to purchasers upon pickup. We cannot warrant as to the contents of new, unopened accessories and their potential fit once items are released to the purchaser of record and their authorized representatives. Given Luxe Auctioneers is known for its rare and high value timepieces, jewelry and other fine items which often sell in the thousands and tens of thousands of dollars, it is unfortunate that someone would conclude that Luxe would engage in deceit for an accessory valued at no more than $50 to $100. Assumably, the glass dome could be sold by the purchaser as well if it does not meet their needs.

Lots are released at the behest of the purchaser to those authorized to receive them and are in the condition stated at that time. We can do nothing to assist you once your lots leave our custody.

With all due respect, Luxe did not offer in house packing and shipping for these auctions. We regret that your selected local third party shipper did not properly pack your lot (s), but that has nothing to do with Luxe and should be taken up with the provider of said packing/shipping. Luxe is not affiliated with any third party shipping companies and cannot recommend one over another.
