What a find!
I've always loved the Cliff House because my family has met there for five generations. I had already gotten a contemporary painting of it in its Victorian incarnation, but this is a period piece that survived the Gold Rush, earthquake, and fire. Impressive auction house with exceptional packing and shipping!
