Busted at wrist but this was known. I have since repaired. Nice piece of history. Cool to pull it out during dove shoots, quite the conversation piece. Choked FULL and FULL so hitting doves can be challenging. Glad to have a piece of American Hunting Heritage.

good place to buy

Horrible customer service, was told they would call me back, no call back, I won an item, was invoiced, paid invoice, then called to check status and was told they are sending item to different person yet they kept my money. This is not the way to conduct business.

I made the mistake of not checking the firearm when received. Found out months later when I went to use the gun that it required a costly repair.

The rifle was NOT in good condition as stated.

They are less than an hour from me so it made the process very easy. I picked up my items in person. They are an FFL so ran the 4473, all done in no time at all.

1. Check what the fees are it can make a good buy into an average buy 2. have your FFL certificate ready 3. Look for your invoice early next day to speed up shipping 4. Ask if you can ship multiple items under one shipping charge 5. Ask a lot of questions be sure what your getting, read the description very carefully, don't hope know what your getting 6. Look at every detail, if possible ask age, mags, condition, history etc. know every single item (s) that comes with purchase 7. If not in rush to receive item pay with check, money transfer or other payment form, CC charge is 3 % 8. Check pictures and zoom in gun picture can be very deceiving 9. Make sure the model is the one you think it is 10. Find out prior to auction what the expense of shooting the gun (ammo, mags, parts that could break, etc.) 11. if the gun has any warranty left and if it only for initial buyer or transferable, most used guns have none 12. Look for how noticeable an import make is (some are huge and ugly) 13. If you can ship to your state (restrictions, round count) 14. Compare models in auction, some contain multiple of same item 15. Make sure you know if finish is original or resurfaced 16. On historical arms the exact makings can make a huge difference in value of gun 17. Can you shoot the gun or is it a safe queen 18. Know what your bidding on, research item, some parts known to break or need replacing can be expensive or very hard to find 19. Ask friends or people with gun knowledge about what your thinking of buying, may make you not buy a headache 20. Have you concealed weapons permit before you buy, it will make you very unhappy when your FFL tells you you have to wait 5 working days to pickup your new toy (cooldown period) 21. Know the fare price of what you want to buy, shop around prior to the auction (over paying sucks) 22. Think before you make a bid, don't over pay set a limit on the gun, there are always other auctions sometimes your have bidders with deep pockets be smart

This transaction went smoothly and the representative of the auction house who I dealt with was very professional.

Regarding a revolver I had won. There was no mention in the item description that the rear sight was damaged. Other than that, good experience.

I bid on two items, won a little item and because glitches lost what I really wanted Liveaucioneers platform is terrible and support is non existent. I received an email from them not addressing the issue of the glitchy platform that made me miss another item in the same auction, it was like predetermined that someone else would get the lot, no warnings, wouldn’t take my increased bid, this is the second very similar issue. I have two case numbers with them that has gone nowhere. On another auction I was approved by liveaucioneers too late for bidding, I missed what I planned to bid on for 2 months. the platform is bad. I was up at 7am when the auction started and they didn’t approve my bidding until it was too late. I’m so disappointed with their business model, bidding started at 7am, the email With approval was received 9:15am.. even the brilliant minds working for Liveaucioneers should recognize the problem. These are one of a kind items for a collector and bidding on something else just doesn’t work. If you can bid with another platform, do it. Accurate give me some lame reasons for loosing the lot and promised to cancel another little item but they filled a complaint against me instead. Stay away.
