I had purchased from Art For Eternity many years ago, and visited their studio on a recent trip to NYC. I was very intrigued by their first auction through the Auction House, so I bid on several items and followed as the auction took place. I was not disappointed and very happy to win two items. Art For Eternity is a great company. The principals are very knowledgeable about ethnographic art and have many years experience in tribal art as well as Pre-Columbian art. I'm very glad that they are on their own contributing their extensive wisdom and experiences via the auction format. Good luck on future offerings. I intend on following this company and add to my collection.

The product I purchased was a diminutive, beautiful passport mask. Never seen one like this one. Lightening fast delivery. Personable interaction. I hope they do another auction.

Art for Eternity is a brick-and-mortar gallery with an established history and reputation. That was reflected in the quality of their inaugural auction. I appreciated two things in particular. First, the buyer’s fee and shipping costs were very reasonable. (Shipping was quick as well!) Second, specific provenance was provided for most lots: an important difference from antiquities dealers who are concerned with keeping their sources secret (referring only to a “private collection” or “New York gallery”) rather than being straightforward with buyers and, more important, ensuring that the background information for objects isn’t lost when they’re sold. I look forward to more auctions from Art for Eternity.
