Easy to work with and very helpful.

I would say they are a great auction and good people. However, what is crazy these days with many auction houses and LA is they have very strict, demanding guidelines such as invoicing immediately or in 3 days, no liability or very little if they make mistakes, etc. My only thought is I want to be treated the same way, if I pay in a day, I should be give the same level of respect I give them and orders should be handled quickly. Still a great auction house. I know shipping is sometimes outsourced, not only do you pay a BP you pay a sometimes insane shipping cost that is over inflated. Imagine this, an an auction house that is transparent, fair, communicates, and does not make more on shipping or the outside firm does. This place would make a fortune. All said, great auction house just crazy times we live in. People need to help and respect each other. Not all auction houses are the same and that goes for buyers.

The item I purchased was described as “print on board”. This is a piece of clear plexi with images.

The folks at Williamson are helpful and knowledgeable. I always enjoy going looking at their offerings, which tend to be interesting and varied. Pickup at their offices is a breeze and the staff quite helpful.

Williamson Auction Gallery was helpful, responsive, pleasant and my package was incredibly well packaged. My package arrived on time as predicted. All in all, a great experience!

It is always a joy to see the treasures that Williamson has! This auction house has a wide variety of items from small collectables to high end pieces. I very much enjoy seeing what they have in store every week!

there it a missing wooden piece of the clock-it is not in the shipping container (this is a minor flaw). old clocks are old. the clock appears otherwise complete, it's functionality is another issue requiring further investigation/evaluation. The inclusion of this item in this shipment is problematic. it's weight alone appeared to crush the bottom of the shipping container.

This rug appears correct.

The external shipping container was insufficient for these items. It suffered bottom collapse, but held up just enough to make it to my home. Stuffing everything into one container is QUESTIONABLE at best. At this point I am not sure of the UPS shipping costs were correctlyapplied..... The auction house might want to look into this "COMBINED" shipment was proper.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with this auction house both as a consignor and a buyer, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience. As a consignor, I especially appreciate how they go above and beyond to keep you involved during the actual auction. I liked the most that I realized other auction houses don't do is call you the moment your items come up for bidding so you can follow along in real time. They make sure you know exactly where the bidding stands, whether your reserve has been met, and they always give you the option to sell or pass, no pressure, just straightforward communication. That level of professionalism and transparency is rare, and I appreciate it so much as I've delt with other auction houses and they don't bother to keep you in the loop and almost always sell below your reserve! What really sets them apart is how they treat people. You never feel like just another number or transaction they remember you, they follow up, and they truly want the best outcome for everyone involved. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. Overall, this auction house has earned my trust and loyalty. Whether you’re new to auctions or have been involved for years, you’ll feel right at home with them. Highly recommended!

I just had a superb auction experience with Williamson, probably one of the best since I’ve started buying at auction. I had my eye on this item, and made an offer. I got an immediate response and the person at Williamson was so patient with me as I stood on the fence unsure if the price was right. They stuck with me through several back and forth messages, finally explaining what the shipping charge might be and offering to help organize that. They made the final decision to buy so very easy and one I am so glad I did. One cannot go wrong in dealing and buying with Williamson, they are there for you, with answers to all your questions and help in every way possible to know that you and your admired lot were meant to be. I thank them and can wholeheartedly recommend them to any bidder for a stellar and wonderfully positive experience. I look very forward to working with them again and again. I love people who live in the solution, anyone can point out a problem, but when you find such wonderful support persons who come up with positive workable solutions to all your questions, you stick with them as they are priceless. I’m sticking with Williamson, they are five star all the way in every category from item knowledge to logistical help to just being really helpful client oriented great people to work with. I could not be happier with my decision to go for it.
