Counterfeit items
Unfortunately, this auction house sold me five counterfeit items. Even after I demonstrated that the items were not authentic — including by providing opinions from internationally recognised specialists and court-registered experts — it did not acknowledge its error and continued to demand payment for them. It even went so far as to propose that I take ownership of the counterfeit items and then resell them through the auction house, thereby exposing me to the risk of criminal liability. I urge all readers to report to the relevant artists ’ archives any items suspected of being counterfeit that appear in Williamson’s auctions.

Items not picked up after 30 days are confiscated
This company routinely loses items. In the past, they would hold my items for 3 to 6 months until I was in the area for local pickup. Then they changed their policy that items not picked up after 1 month are confiscated and placed for sale in upcoming auctions! They did not attempt any communication with me as to their policy change. Instead, they confiscated my purchases and resold them.
