Won the item and everything was going fine. I asked for shipping with insurance and they quoted me $270 of something around that which I approved and paid right away. Then they shipped the $10, 000 item ground UPS which I found odd. I got a notice that the product had been delivered from UPS-but I am in an office and no one had received anything. We also have a security system inside and out and no UPS truck had delivered anything. So I proceeded to call the auction house and asked them to followup with UPS as they were the shipper. Immediately went on the defensive and said it was not their responsibility and that as soon as they shipped it was not their problem. And that I had signed a waver-which I has not-first time I heard of that. Then they proceeded to insinuate that I had received it and that I was lying... Wow! Then they hung up on me. All I had asked was for them to call UPS. I emailed them again as they refused to pick up the phone. I asked about the insurance I had paid for-they emailed me that I had to file a police report etc... Luckily we have some connections at UPS and were able to bypass her and track the package that had been delivered at the wrong address. All was well for our item. But please stay away from this shop/auction house-in 10 years of dealing with auction houses-this has been a first. They are the most unprofessional and rude organization I have ever come accross. Please beware.

My items were shipped in a box that was falling apart and not securely taped together. There was an opening all along the upper side that someone could easily reach into and access the pieces inside. There was also no waterproof protection of the items, they were wrapped in tissue paper but that was it. Had the box gotten wet it would've damaged the items especially considering the opening on the box. I don't have a problem with requiring a signature for shipping, but it would be good to have a heads up so customers can make arrangements. I was not available the 3 days in a row they attempted and spent an hour on the phone with UPS trying to stop the box from getting returned. They ultimately allowed me to come pick it up at their facility, seeing the condition it was in only made matters more frustrating. If you're shipping expensive items it would be worth investing it shipping materials to protect them. I reached out before reviewing but did not get a response.

I would not buy from this company again. The add on fees would make any purchase unrealistically expensive. My $45 purchase of a small pair of 3” heels turned into $132. It was completely unexpected to a normal buyer. There were the regular shipping fees where were high compared to other shops, their commissions which are normal and listed, but two other premium fees that would not be assumed by a buyer. I make purchases on a regular basis across this site, buying a small $45 item and ending up with a $132 bill is outrageous by any standard. The product is as advertised. Shipping time was inline with expectations. The fees would stop me from ever shopping with them again.
