I picked up in-person and the employees were so very nice and friendly.

Misleading email communication, but they did refund my money
I was interested in bidding on an album of trade cards, but it was not clear how many cards there were. So I asked. I was told a number which far exceeded (by hundreds) the number of cards that actually were in the lot. When the album arrived, it was much thinner than that number of cards would warrant, so I flipped through the pages and counted the cards. They did accept the return of the lot, and paid the refund promptly. HOWEVER, the owner then accused me of having removed cards from the lot-which I absolutely did not do. I value my honesty, and resent the manner in which I was treated. I never even physically touched any of the cards in the album; merely counted them. I certainly will never deal with this auction house again.

Amanda Auction Gallery is very patient, kind, I was a bit late in contacting them because I thought someone else would ship my items. Some Auction houses wonβt hold your items. No fear with Amanda Auction Gallery. They contacted me after I left a message, they researched shipping quotes to provide me the lowest quote. My items arrived very quickly. They were packed with care. Iβm always hesitant because I bought lamps and not everybody knows how to safely ship antique lamps. I have actually purchased items from Amanda Auction Gallery again and would do so in the future without reservation.

Staff is very nice. Process gets a little confusing when buying online via LiveAuctions. Shipping via Amanda Auction Gallery takes a bit of time but we'll worth it and very reasonable rates. Will bid and buy again.

Have your Items shipped through Amanda Auction Gallery, LLC. they are WAY WAY cheaper than Liveauctioneers. Liveauctioneers shipping prices are insanely ridiculous... and takes close to a month to get it.

EXTREMELY RUDE
I kindly and respectfully asked about some fees associated with the close of the auction. I won $605 worth of items. I was aware of the 25 % BP of $121. Still not a problem. However when I asked about an extra $250 of that was $90 in shipping I certainly didn't receive a kind response. My integrity, competence, honor were brutally attacked. I'm a 100 % disabled veteran who's runs a Veteran non profit. I wouldn't speak to anyone in this matter, especially a customer. Your mean and miserable people with the slightest sense of human decency.

For clarity and as we tried to explain prior, our buyerβs premium is 20 %, which is clearly stated in the terms and conditions bidders must agree to before registering. In your case, the $605 purchase resulted in a $121 buyerβs premium (20 %). The additional charges reflected on your invoice were sales tax (since no exemption was on file with AAG or LiveAuctioneers), the credit card convenience fee charged by LiveAuctioneers, and the shipping fee you elected to accept through LiveAuctioneers β LiveShip program. As we announce at the beginning of every auction, if a shipping quote seems high, buyers are welcome to contact us directly for alternate shipping options, including UPS, whose information is linked in our published terms. LiveAuctioneers 'Invoices are very transparent and break down what each fee is. Itβs also important to note that your card was attempted multiple times by LiveAuctioneers and declined, which required escalation as a dispute by our Payments Department. We have also been made aware of several prior open and closed disputes with other auction companies in recent months. We address these situations carefully in order to ensure fairness and payment security for all participants. Would have given a 5-star review if shipping was faster. It took more than four weeks to receive my items. I used liveauctioneer shipping and with the shipping cost, I would expect my items to arrive within 2 weeks.

Shipping will cost you more than you pay for the items.
Items are well described and dealing with the auction house was fine, but shipping will make items that seem reasonable in price get expensive quickly. The items were well packed, but the price was 50 % higher than it should have been.
