Before/during auction, auction house responsive in chat. Paid invoice easily on website, despite seeming a bit dated to route around. Communicated when shipping started, estimated delivery, and was on time, immaculately packaged-and secured to a pallet upright with a box tipping indicator (due to fragile piece/frame). Best shipping I've ever received with art! Thank you for your service, from bidding to shipping and delivery. I love my artwork.

I am told by the Heritage Auction house that liveauctioneers failed to upload my bids to the auction house. My bids were left days ahead of the auction. Recieved notification that I had won, from liveauctioneers. In the digital age we live in, I fail to see how this happened. Both side are saying they are not at fault. I can't trust leaving a proxy bid with a platform like liveauctioneers at this point. Very upset.

The item had been sold as being double wooden crated; this made it quite large and shipping expensive (weight was quoted at 250-300lbs). I had been given photos by Heritage of the crates to see how large they were. I cross shopped other shippers in the area assuming the crating was correct. Upon receiving the item, it had been repackaged into a much smaller container (single cardboard box with foam touching the item). This caused damages. I reached out to heritage to find out if this smaller box affected the shipping and I was over billed and was told the shipping was correct. This making no sense as the shipping with a secondary shipper was going to be significantly cheaper had I gone with a secondary shipper at this much smaller size. It was completely dishonest. I will never do business with Heritage again. They lied to me over and over. Worse, since they repackaged it, it came damaged. Lied about shipping over and over through several emails, calls etc. This wasn't one outlier or a misunderstanding. Item arrived damaged and no resolution created. By far the worst experience i have ever had with an auction house, online auction site, etc. The behavior of this company is not that of a high end auction house, but rather felt like a fly by night company. Very shady. Highly recommend avoiding.

Overall everything worked well. Item was in perfect condition. Shipping could have been a little smoother, but it was worth the wait!

Great overall experience. Paying by checking account results in quite a delay for shipment and you can save money by going through their direct auction. But other than that, it was great.

Heritage is one of the best auction houses around. I have purchased from them multiple times for various pieces to add to my different collections. Always professional service and always great communication and delivery.

Items were NOT depicted nor described as when they finally arrived, both the matting and prints were glued to poster boards! Prints were seriously rolled and creased, I am just so very disappointed in auction house description!!!

Heritage Auctions is impossible to deal with. their customer service is horrible and incredibly difficult to reach. i have spent 2 weeks trying to get my resale certificate to them without success. they are incredibly difficult to deal with. i am an antiques
