Hi, Paul, again: I am so sorry you had to go through all the hassle of getting your package from FedEx, but am happy you received it in the end. As for the "extra charges"........ this is not eBay and LiveAuctioneers charges anywhere from 25-31 % buyer's premiums, which are clearly stated when you place a bid on any item and then you have two separate field where you have to click "accept" in order to leave a bid. We don't mail anything (not even postcards) for $1, but pack in an extra padded envelope (which already costs us $1) and then have a girl come in (at $20/hour) to package everything and then mail to the other side of the country, including tracking and insurance....... As I just showed you in an email, between the packaging and actually charges shipping costs (tracked and insured) I actually UNDER charged you by $10! I am very disappointed you would give my auction house only a 1-star review, based on FedEx's mistake (not Yardley Antiques 'mistake) and not realizing buyer's premium costs (charged by LiveAuctioneers).

I replied to your emails several times, explaining the ring was clearly marked as being gold and buyer's remorse is not a reason for a return....... as per auction registration, there are NO returns and NO refunds at all! I have no control over the shipping company's timeline for shipping. As per the same auction registration, all sold/paid for items are dropped off there (free of charge) 1-2 weeks after auction end. I am sorry you were not happy with your purchase.

This buyer is trying to defraud me by demanding his money back (no refunds, as per auction registration) for an item that was in great condition when it left the USA (shipped to Canada). He now claims it is damaged-without so much as a photograph as proof and for some reason is unwilling to file a shipping insurance claim, which would be the actual appropriate course of action. Threatened my business with a social media smear campaign, if I didn't give him his money back! Bidder is now blocked from ever bidding in my auctions again and I hope you'll read his review in the spirit it was written.
