Spent several thousand on cards here only to find out they are worthless because they were mostly cut/altered. Contacted Bearistry and received no response. Now I have to make the most of all the junk that I purchased from them. Even their slabbed up cards were altered. This is why they create such strict return policies, but regardless, selling altered cards with or without knowing they are altered, does not mean that they are protected by law or their auction policies. Goods must be sold and disclosed as altered as it affects their perceived value.

Purchased several sports card lots only to find out that many of the cards were cut/altered. I confirmed with a digital caliper which showed different lengths from side to side. Bought a total of 8 or 9 card lots with several “graded” Jordan cards, but even the slabbed cards, were cut/altered. These cards are mixed in between other regular cards. I reached out to them regarding the altered cards to request a refund and did not receive one response. Still thinking about taking legal action due to the amount of money I spent. I would never purchase from here again.

I won this item for $14. It is a small and light piece and yet I was charged $111.00 for shipping and it wasn’t even shipped priority. I feel this auction house took advantage of me with this outrageous shipping charge.

Everything was spot on. Great items as listed. USPS shipping was fast, reasonable, and efficient.

Misrepresented items, using a loophole in the return policy so they didn’t have to refund me. LiveAuctioneers didn’t help because it’s their policy to enable crooks to misrepresent items.

This was my first time using Bearistry Auctions and I was a bit apprehensive about using them. My apprehension was unfounded though as the whole process from bidding to paying and shipping was very easy and straightforward. I will definitely use them again if I see items of interest.

The description was vague and lacking.. The item was not the size I believed it was. Based on the title and very limited description, I thought the picture was an 8x10. It was not. It was 16x20. Shipping ended up costing more because of this. More than the cost of the item.

No problems with the auction house itself. Lot was as described however, when it came to shipping a 3rd party was used. Fully aware the cost of mailing from California to Kentucky, but quoting over $100 to ship a small bag of vintage snapshots was outrageous. Luckily I was able to find a UPS store # 7635 just a stones throw away from the auction house and they were able to assist and ship at a MUCH lower rate.

Please get some WW2 German pole tops, Kampf Zeit time period!

I do not blame the shipper. It should never take this long to get an item. I would give Bearistry another try though.

The place that this auction house uses for shipping is shady and dishonest, package never arrived. Lied to me about insurance. This UPS store that ships for this auction house should be investigated.

UPS Store that auction house uses charged way more than the should’ve for what was won. Unless you can pick up items yourself I’d be leery of bidding on one of their auctions

communication and shipment were excellent. i decided to take a chance buying raw cards labeled "authenticity has not been performed" but these cards were very fake, not even good fakes. I feel like an idiot for even buying these 😆. buyer beware.
